In the year of the home run, Brewers first baseman Andrew Fischer’s 48 homers for High-A Wisconsin and Double-A Biloxi set him apart.

Fischer hit more home runs than any minor leaguer since Ron Kittle hit 50 for Edmonton in 1982.

Fischer batted .273/.413/.654 overall. The 22-year-old led the minors in home runs, slugging percentage and total bases. For his historic power production, Fischer is the Baseball America 2026 Minor League Player of the Year.

It's that time of the @TheReal_NFC Baseball season again. The last day of the MLB regular season is almost upon us and with it the kickoff of the annual MTM Early Psycho, the first full 50 round DC that will count towards the overall next season... whenever that will be. This draft has it's origins in what at one time was the Email Draft created by Dan "Doughboys" Kenyon many eons ago and has since had its off-shoots like the Meatball Draft, but this one is DC #1, and this year we're making it extra fun by live streaming the first 30 rounds of it hosted by me and @zackwaxx with a 1-minute pick clock at 6:30 p.m. EST on Sunday once the last game of the regular MLB season is complete-followed by a short pause as we then will resume the final 20 rounds with a 2-hour pick clock which will mostly be ignored to wrap this bad boy up by some time mid-week next week. We have 15 true fanatics putting up their $150 entry for what will either be a massive calamity of an endeavor for most or possibly a huge windfall lottery for one. No one knows for sure, but there's exactly ONE SPOT LEFT with a late drop in this one, so first come first served for whoever reaches out to me.
