🇲🇦🇪🇸 What is ACTUALLY driving so many migrants to cross into Spain right now?

This debate often centers on the impact to the country receiving the migrants, with too little attention spent on why so many are coming in the first place.

Obviously, concerns about mass migration are very real, and I sympathize with those greatly.

But I also can't help but feel for those who feel the need to make dangerous journeys across borders and seas in search of a better life.

I don't have all the answers, I don't know that anyone does, but I do wish we would keep this in mind.

I DO NOT want violence perpetrated by illegal migrants on Europe's streets.

I DO NOT want men, women, and children to suffer or drown on these journeys, or at home in countries that give them no future.

I just want a solution beyond simply putting up high walls and forgetting they exist... 💔
