@KUSINews@ToddGloria When you remove all standards of accountability for human beings and permit them access to debilitating narcotics, this is predictable.
@texasrunnerDFW@OBeautiful9@nondescriptwhi2 Read up on The Fourth Turning. We are heading for generational and societal change on par with nothing we have ever seen before as the younger generation realizes that the system isn’t serving them, and a new system and economy will rise from massive strife that is coming.
@nondescriptwhi2@texasrunnerDFW Another great point. The entire system is rigged against young people. The old guard created a debt based economy that is now saddled with 31.5 TRILLION in debt. If a young person saves in dollars, their sweat and energy will deplete over time through inflation.
@texasrunnerDFW You certainly hit a huge reason. Imagine being 27, and seeing basic life metrics like owning a home, or even being able to afford a car and have some savings felt so out of reach? The economic system set up for them is rigged against them.
@VenturaCountyDA Ventura County is very fortunate to have extremely professional police services. The quality of hiring, the training and the pursuit of professionalism amongst all agencies is evident on a daily basis.
@shutah8@ClaireT57031177@OzraeliAvi The young man expressed a willingness to comply. Imagine yourself in a situation where multiple people are using force simultaneously against you in a disorganized way- panic sets in. Death occurs time and time again through this very process. It's a training and mentality issue.
@ClaireT57031177@OzraeliAvi Officer tactics can become so aggressive that it induces an involuntary flight response, i.e., panic. That's what I see in the video. The young man verbally signaled a willingness to comply, but the brutality escalated such that he fled fearing for his life, then the beat down.
@OzraeliAvi A constant problem with American police tactics occurs when a person in utter fear or under the influence involuntarily tenses up or fails to understand how to comply - officers wrongly perceive him/her as a resister - increasing force & violence to the point of injury and death
@MovetheWorld9@JamesMelville I highly question whether these people, scratching the ground with rudimentary tools, are being paid a fair wage. Hard work is noble, but it is also a tragedy at the barrel of poverty and under the supervision of those who can abuse and take advantage of them.
@JamesMelville My goodness, so many thoughts are evoked by this video. First, there but for the grace of God go I to not be born into poverty. Second, the EV revolution seems impossible based on the natural resources required. EV's on balance seem far more detrimental to the Earth.
@mtracey Insane. We "are" at war with Russia if we are utilizing Ukraine as a defacto NATO proxy army. Russian nuclear doctrine calls for the use of nukes against an overwhelming conventional NATO force. The incrementalism towards total war and threat to humanity cannot be understated.
@CambriaClover@Timcast It's b.s. that for political reasons, i.e., political hatred, so many are taking glee at Mr. Pelosi's victimization. The offender is apparently a mentally ill and violent person who could have killed Mr. Pelosi. Pelosi deserves some compassion.
@WarrenDavidson 100 billion and no debate. No one going on the record. No dissent whatsoever voiced in a move (sending advanced tanks and weapons) that provokes hostility with a nuclear superpower. The state of the Republic is weak.
