Elon Musk is right. The South African government is both racist and incompetent to the core.
For too long did they get away with calling themselves "the children of Mandela" to curry favour in the international arena, while they have become the very thing they claim to oppose.
@ErnstRoets All the politicians in South Africa who push their viciously racist laws should be sanctioned, barred from travel, declared criminals and have their international assets seized
I’ve seen firsthand how discriminatory BEE policies can be.
I met Afrikaners who were required to train their replacements, only to be let go because they are white. No American company should be forced to comply with racist laws like this.
@elonmusk is right, President Ramaphosa is being dishonest.
At last, Julius Malema - famous for his "Kill the Boer" chant, has been sentenced to 5 years in prison. But not for calling for the murder of the Afrikaners.
Malema was sentenced on an unrelated firearms charge.
@Joe_Emilio_@elonmusk if you can repost this it will make the world's difference.
Ramaphosa claims that no land has been taken. This is just one of thousands of examples
The Oval Office confrontation between President Ramaphosa and President Trump served to highlight the appalling failures of South Africa’s ruling elite.
"Those days are over for me; not interested anymore because it's been squandered."
You're not the only one @GarethCliff. SA is beautiful but the ANC SYSTEM killed the country's essence.
EFF racism, ANC kleptocracy, and blatant destruction leaves little to be kind about.
The world is finally waking up and seeing the ANC for what they are. Legacy media can try and scapegoat folks like Afriforum all they want, but the truth will come out. Especially now that @RobertHersov is bringing us "Truth Report"
National debt, 1960: $286 billion
National debt, 2025: $36.2 TRILLION
Are our communities safer?
Is it easier to raise a family?
Did we improve education?
How about infrastructure?
If not, then what the hell did they do with that $36,200,000,000,000?
The Senior Representatives of the Donald Trump administration, wouldn’t open a door for Naledi Pandor!
The Oval Office isn’t like the ICJ, not everyone has a privilege of entry. I don’t understand why the ANC is willing to send delegates to the USA, after lying to the Citizens that “they won’t be bullied”. They’ve watched South Africa tell the minorities to leave, even the famous Malema recently displayed his position on the USA refugee offer to the minorities.
.@afriforum agrees with the @HudsonInstitute that South Africa should not be removed from AGOA. If the U.S. wants to take action, it should instead target senior ANC leaders: "A successful campaign would need to target South African officials responsible for the anti-American measures the government has implemented. Targets should be senior enough to demonstrate Washington’s seriousness. The campaign would strike the officials’ core interests like personal wealth and the ability to travel freely to places like the US."
