If Congress fails to act, college sports could become a mini-NFL: 30 to 50 schools with real programs and everyone else left behind.
That would be tragic for fans, schools, and the more than 500,000 student-athletes competing across America.
College sports bring us together, but more importantly, they give young men and women a path to education and a brighter future.
