@oakvilletransit You need it as the trips are so long you will fall asleep. To get to shopping in the northeast from the northwest, is one hour. A ride to the Go train of a few kms is almost as long as the trip from Oakville to Toronto. Keep up the good work of having incredibly bad service.

@oakvilletransit I had my dementia driving neighbour turn in front of a stopped bus and almost hit me as I crossed properly. But hey, I'm just a lowly pedestrian and he would have got a mini fine. Drivers must drive. I now don't cross at the light but jaywalk as it is safer.

@yuanyi_z He's not getting approved for an email. He gets assessed for medical conditions. Poverty is not on the list. I don't think he even knows what benefits he can apply for as a lower income senior in Alberta. There are plenty.

@nationalpost His 2016 mental health and homecare money disappeared into a black hole with no improvements. Reform would mean more of the $110 a month doctor like they have in Victoria. I would pay that.

@InsideHalton Gee 1990 all over again. People pulling houses off the market to rent them. Prices falling dramatically and nobody buying, waiting for them to fall further. Developers will soon stop building as their profits will fall.

@igrantubc @amp6 All the people I know with mental illness want access. Hard to get a family doctor, "out of scope of practice." Doctors tell you what treatment you get, even if it doesn't work or failed before. Mental illnesses are poorly treated physical brain conditions, it's not "mental."

@GregEqEd @TrudoLemmens @spectator In Canada we have no Constitutional or legal right to health care, beyond abortion and MAiD. So you can't sue if you are refused care. If you are connected, you get better access than someone without. Stephen Lewis gets experimental cancer treatment nobody else his age would.
