@hardwarecanucks @zacbowden Windows on ARM at least fixed modern standby and sleep so your laptop won't be borderline burning itself in your backpack. Windows on ARM can be made fanless like MacBook Air and Neo, As far as I know no Lunar Lake or any legit Windows X64 laptop are fanless.

I have a Pro X and it's been surprisingly good in my hands as Windows updates only failed maybe 3 times in 4 years despite I'm always on insider builds

@0xbadfca11 The dev team replying to that thread made it very clear that getting ARM64 Windows running on Apple silicon is not supported in any means. And legally, you can't buy ARM64 Windows because it's only offered to OEMs. All in all, it's more a legal issue rather than technical issue.
