MaREI researchers Dr. Anne Marie O’Hagan and Dr. Emma Verling contributed to the OES-Environmental 2024 State of the Science Report . They helped to scope the entirety of the report and provided valuable contributions to all chapters.

🤝 With @BirdWatchIE Cork Branch and Glounthaune Men’s Shed, we installed a Sand Martin nest bank at Harper's Island Wetlands.
🐦 The banks provide 48 nesting chambers for Sand Martins, now breeding at the reserve.
