Horrible Service by Amazon..! @amazonIN@amazon@AmazonHelp@JoshiPralhad@jagograhakjago@consumercourtin@GoI_MeitY@DoC_GoI I am reaching out to you as a long-standing customer who has been loyal to Amazon for over 10 years, depending on your services for our family’s day-to-day as well as significant purchases. However, my recent experience with Amazon has left me and my family feeling harassed, ignored, and deeply disappointed due to the lack of resolution, professionalism, and transparency regarding the damaged product I received.
On September 27, 2024, my family purchased a Samsung 163 cm (65 inches) D Series Crystal 4K Vivid Pro Ultra HD Smart LED TV (Order ID: 402-8791909-0921101) with installation included. This TV was delivered on September 30, 2024. When the installation engineer visited on October 4, 2024, the TV was found to be damaged, with visible green glitches and a distorted display. The engineer suggested that I immediately file a replacement request, which I did, uploading images of the damaged TV and its packaging.
Since then, I have been repeatedly assured by Amazon customer service that my replacement or refund would be promptly processed. However, here is the sequence of events that followed:
Initial Delay: After filing the replacement request, I was told that pickup would occur within 3 business days. No pickup was arranged, so I contacted customer service again on October 9, where I was informed that only a return/refund (and not a replacement) was possible. After escalating, I was assured that the replacement would occur on October 11, which did not happen.
Further Misguidance: On October 12, after receiving no updates, I called again and was informed—again—that my only option was a refund. Having my money (Rs 62,000) tied up for almost half a month, I reluctantly agreed to this option. However, pickup was still not scheduled.
Continuous Cancelations Without Notice: I called again on October 16, where I was told that delays were due to the third-party courier and that strict action would be taken. Despite multiple calls, my pickup was repeatedly canceled by the courier without any notification to me.
False Cancelation Notices: On October 20, I received false “delivery cancelation” notices on my phone, which I clarified were not initiated by me. I was assured yet again that if the return was not completed by October 25, I would receive a refund without further delay. October 25 passed without any contact from Amazon or the courier.
Unsubstantiated Denial of Return Request: On October 26, I was told that no return would be honored as the product was supposedly delivered without damage. Despite having clear evidence and multiple confirmations from Amazon customer service in prior calls, my case was abruptly dismissed. My calls have even been terminated abruptly, compounding my frustration.
This ordeal has left my family and me feeling both helpless and betrayed, especially as we have been loyal Amazon customers for so long. Our attempts to patiently address this issue have been met only with inconsistency, false assurances, and what feels like purposeful evasion. We are owed a transparent explanation and a prompt refund for a product that was clearly delivered defective.
Enclosed with this post are the photos of the damaged product to substantiate my claims.
I have mailed the same with the Invoice of the purchase and call recordings detailing each follow-up and assurance given by your support team from the registered email id to amazon customer support but no response.
I request your immediate attention to this matter. Please refund the full amount of Rs 62,000 without further delay, and consider this an urgent call to improve customer treatment.

Was stunned the other day after seeing d translation of ‘Schizophrenia’ in
@Google Translator as ‘One type of Madness’. Extent 2 which it’s disrespectful & demeaning to the community suffering with it is unfathomable.Hve suggested an edit. I urge @GoogleIndia to change it asap.

Loved the idea shared by different speakers, of having 'work-life blend' instead of 'work-life balance'.
Also happy for getting a few nice reading suggestions, mentioned below.

When I was rejected from Harvard's PhD program, my dad said “don’t worry doctor, they’ll hire you as a professor.” Now he’s even more convinced that he's *always* right about everything, but that’s a small price to pay for the privilege of being believed in by him.
