When the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) died, many Muslims were in shock. Umar (RA) couldn’t even accept it. But Abubakr (RA) reminded them:
“Whoever worships Muhammad, know that Muhammad is dead. But whoever worships God, He is Ever-Living and never dies.”
That is Islam.
We do not worship Muhammad. We follow him. He was a messenger, not a mediator. He lived like us, felt pain like us, and died like us. He never claimed to be divine or the only way to reach God.
In Islam, your connection with God is direct. No middleman.
“We are closer to him than his jugular vein.”
Yes, believing in the Prophet is essential. Not because he stands between you and God, but because he delivered God’s message.
But your prayer, your worship, your dua… it goes straight to the One who hears all things.
