“The 2024 Republican Party platform, released today, calls for using the 14th Amendment not to protect equal rights for Americans from discriminatory laws, as those who wrote, passed, and ratified the amendment intended. Instead it calls for using the 14th Amendment to protect the rights of fetuses from the time of fertilization. It says that states should start passing laws protecting those rights: so-called fetal personhood laws that have their roots in the 1960s and were considered a fringe idea until about fifteen years ago. Those laws prohibit all abortion, in vitro fertilization (IVF), and several forms of contraception.” — @HC_Richardson (7/8/24)
He outmaneuvered the GOP during the state of the union…twice.
He outmaneuvered Kevin McCarthy into preventing the government shutdown.
He outmaneuvered Mike Johnson into funding our allies.
He’s outmaneuvering the pundits right now.
When you underestimate Joe Biden, you play right into his hands.
BREAKING: Adult film star Stormy Daniels brilliantly torches MAGA followers on the Friday before Donald Trump's criminal hush money trial is set to begin.
Trumpers attacked her online but bit off far more than they could chew...
"Stormy Daniels is a parasite that would sell anything for a dollar," wrote one Trump supporter.
"Not true. I wouldn't sell Bibles," responded Stormy, taking a brutal shot at Trump hawking blasphemous $60 MAGA Bible to prop up his failing finances.
Trump is drowning in legal fees, struggling to support a presidential campaign, and scrambling to scrounge together the massive $464 million sum he owes from his New York fraud trial.
Please retweet and ❤️ if you hope that Trump gets convicted for his hush money crimes — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth — which is only making Tribel grow even faster. Trump didn't want Pence for VP. He said that Pence had the "whiff of a loser." However, due to a flat tire on Trump's plane upon landing in Indiana and Pence's team pushing for the position, Pence was selected. It turns out, again, that Trump was correct. Pence is indeed a loser and a Big one at that.
I find it incredibly inspiring that a guy who
- struggled with a stutter his whole life
- lost his wife and daughter in a tragic car crash
- lost his son to brain cancer
- was on the verge of losing in the 2020 primaries
He kept getting knocked down by life, but Joe Biden overcame adversity, rose to the occasion, and WON the presidency.
And then he got right to work with transformative, consequential actions that helped save America:
- Created 15 million jobs
- Created 800,000 manufacturing jobs here in U.S.
- Lowered unemployment and kept it under 4% for TWO YEARS STRAIGHT
- Forgave $142 billion in student debt for 3.9 million borrowers
- Passed MAJOR bipartisan Infrastructure bill
- Reduced insulin to no more than $35/month
- Historic funding for HBCUs
Meanwhile, his opponent:
- lost popular vote TWICE
- lost the House and Senate
- cheated on all of his wives
- squandered millions he was given
- committed and was indicted for 91 felonies
- sexually assaulted women and BRAGGED about it
- called our fallen soldiers "suckers and losers"
- stiffed a ton of blue collar workers and contractors
- stepped on little guys on his way up (including the co-founders of Truth Social that he's suing)
- totally BOTCHED the response to COVID, with lies that led to the deaths of over a million people
- managed to lose more jobs than any American President since Herbert Hoover
- tried to extort the President of Ukraine
- incited insurrection at the Capitol.
- wanted to nuke hurricanes
- rage tweeted and golfed
- Lied 30,000+ times
Biden is a better human being, a better leader, a better President.
He's more mature, compassionate, and responsible.
He's a few years older, but way more experienced and capable.
That's why I'm voting for President Biden. 🇺🇸💙
JUST IN: Outraged Karl Rove viciously attacks Donald Trump for saying if elected, he will pardon J6 defendants, says, they are not hostages, they are thugs, adds that January 6 “was a stain on our history. And every one of those sons of bitches who did that, we oughta find them, try them and send them to jail." WATCH
Statement from President Joe Biden on Easter
Jill and I send our warmest wishes to Christians around the world celebrating Easter Sunday. Easter reminds us of the power of hope and the promise of Christ’s Resurrection.
As we gather with loved ones, we remember Jesus’ sacrifice. We pray for one another and cherish the blessing of the dawn of new possibilities. And with wars and conflict taking a toll on innocent lives around the world, we renew our commitment to work for peace, security, and dignity for all people.
From our family to yours, happy Easter and may God bless you.
Based on my research, it appears that the quote you mentioned is accurate and was said by former President Trump during a speech to the conservative student group Turning Point USA in December 2019.
The key evidence comes from these results:
[1] "I never understood wind. You know, I know windmills very much, I've...'"[2] "'I never understood wind.'"[4] "I never understood wind," Trump said, according to Mediaite. "I know windmills very much, I have studied it better than anybody. I know it is very expensive. They are made in China and Germany mostly, very few made here, almost none, but they are manufactured, tremendous — if you are into this — tremendous fumes and gases are spewing into the atmosphere. You know we have a world, right?"
So Trump did make these statements criticizing wind power and claiming that the manufacturing of wind turbines produces significant "fumes and gases" that are "spewing into the atmosphere." The context seems to be Trump railing against wind energy during a political speech.

On this holy weekend, one man is taking the Resurrection personally. Donald Trump is presenting himself as the Man on the Cross, tortured for our sins. “I consider it a great badge of courage,” he tells crowds. “I am being indicted for you.” Instead of Christ-like redemption, he promises Lucifer-like retribution if resurrected.

BREAKING: President Barack Obama just said President Biden is having one of the most successful Presidential terms of all time. Retweet so all Americans hear this incredible praise.
When Calvin Graham was 11 years old, he began shaving, convinced it would make him look older than he was. He also practiced speaking in a deep voice, pretending to talk like a man.
Two years later, he forged his mom's signature to enlist in the U.S. Navy and ended up being awarded both the Bronze Star and Purple Heart before he turned 14
