If you’ve been to the American Military Cemetery in Normandy, and you’ve looked out over those rows of crosses and stars of David, you’ll know how odious this man is. Those men didn’t die for this ideology or assholes like Pete Hegseth.
With @ChicagoBears announcing their potential move to Indiana, it's a strange thing to watch working class conservatives cheer this, and blame a political party for not allowing a billionaire team owner to pay even less in taxes.
Crazy time to be alive.

Zelensky arrived, the crowd applauded. And then this happened:
🇺🇸 veteran: You’re a saviour of the people
Zelensky: No, no, you saved Europe
🇺🇸 veteran: My hero
Zelensky: No, you are our hero

@danwiederer The meatballs screaming loudest about "losing" the Bears are the very ones screaming loudest about paying taxes. We'd be fortunate if they just move to Indiana, too. They'll feel quite at home a bit further downstate.
@WardedOne_ For years when I've said we deserve an AFC team, people have hooted me down, but maybe that will change as they realize their loyalty and hard-earned money mean so little to that family.
If the Bears really do leave for Indiana, I dunno who buys the Arlington Heights property. But that buyer may be wise to try to recruit another NFL franchise to relocate and build on the site.
Similarly, Chicago may be wise to try to lure another team to Soldier Field. 1/
@Billy_dk_89 Seeing the fans' comments over the past year has been illuminating, and not in a good way. People really don't understand how the world works, much less understand why they're a big part of the problem.
@wischlist For years I’ve been saying we deserve an AFC team. A smart owner would move here and ignore every other owner who would scream bloody murder. What a cash cow it would be.
@danwiederer It's not all his fault, but if they leave now, Brandon Johnson has presented himself as the scapegoat by taking a victory lap after he killed the PILOT legislation.
