If we had a king in the US the act of protesting him would be illegal and clearly it's not. He's correct in a way. The only topic of discussion is "Trump Bad". When Democrats discuss policy that's where they crumble. "Trump Bad" as a strategy for the 2028 election will end in not only a Republican victory (that candidate won't be Trump for the rational people reading this). Not only a victory but a popular vote victory. Kind of like a little league team competing against major league, and that wouldn't be much of a game. So, I agree with him in that context.

@thatsKAIZEN I like this argument on its face but I believe the $17k isn't conveying accurate numbers to support the $5k-10k. That number is conveying costs associated with personnel involved, and those costs still happen whether they're doing this job or another job.
