Hello fellow tweeters,
Welcome to my Millersville University Twitter account! Enjoy the content created, or shared, for the purposes of my ENGL318 course!
@abbiemacktweets I feel like some habits will be harder to quit at this point but I also definitely see myself letting others slip. Maybe creating a simple visual that you can keep on your computer, planner, wall, to remind you of the habits you really want to keep? #engl318mu
@abbiemacktweets I used to feel if I didn't write everything down, I wouldn't retain it! (Which used to kill my time, hand, and energy.) Now I realize I retain it more if I focus on the reading and summarize afterwards #engl318mu
I think what I like most from my learning in #engl318mu is how to design my content for different audiences. Before this class, I may have thought that this was an easy concept — but now I know all that it entails!
I’m proud of the structure of my essay. I’ve used headings/ subheadings to build how I’ve learned and developed through this course. Now I just need to figure out how to wrap it up nicely! #engl318mu
@abi_risser For my paper, I talked about the 4C skills, what in this course helped me develop them (assignments/ concepts), and how I will apply these skills/ knowledge in my future #engl318mu
During me revision, I’m going to take out any clutter. I feel like I can ramble in an essay — so I definitely will be looking at taking out unnecessary parts #engl318mu
@abi_risser Agreed! It’s important to be creative when expressing ideas, whether that be in a problem-solving manner or just putting something in a new, unique way #engl318mu
@branditowns1 Could not agree more! When I am thinking/ planning the content, it easily flows out of me. Yet when I try to actually create the content as planned, I start to run into complications! #engl318mu
@megan_gockley I agree! Communication is key when it comes to collaboration. Like you said, especially now when we are remote, it is all too easy to get mixed up when communicating through email/ text for everything #engl318mu
When I think of creativity, I think of someone making something new, unique, and original. When it comes to writing, I think of creativity as expressing something in a way that I wouldn’t have thought of/ heard before #engl318mu
@cewoodMU Have you updated your password lately? There were emails that said if you didn’t update your password, you’d be locked out and you’d need to call the help desk. 🤷🏼♀️ #engl318mu
