Javier, I just read this:

"The blackout that recently affected Spain and Portugal was caused by a fire in southern France that damaged a crucial high-voltage line. This incident caused a disconnection of the Iberian Peninsula from the European power grid, resulting in power outages."

I don't know the official source, but it makes sense since it affected part of France, all of Spain and part of Portugal.
