As we get older, our eyesight naturally deteriorates.

Standing in the queue in the supermarket last weekend, I was looking at the rack of gift cards next to the checkout.
Some gift cards enable the recipient to buy a ‘thing‘ from a specific retailer… M&S, etc.

I've just received a private message about the post I wrote the other day on sharing BS Facebook protest posts.
It was a passionate, unfiltered message, and was written as I speak, unfiltered.
The message I received said "it makes me want to run a million miles from you."🏃🏻♀️
Imagine for a minute that you wrote a passionate, unfiltered message on Facebook, and received this message...
What does it bring up for you?💭

I have had a coach that is a BIG swearer.

In the beginning, I had this belief that we have to be totally professional online, and seeing people swear would majorly trigger me.
In fact, as I write this, I've just remembered that I've actually written a message like the one I received today, to someone who swore in an email.
OMG. The shame! 😳
But the thing is, it was ME being triggered by their swearing. It was my stuff.
They were just being themselves - authentically.
If you have fear around posting in your authentic voice, sit with it for a while.
Ask yourself what you're scared of? 👻
If your first thought on receiving a message like the one I got is "oh sh*t!", sit with that for a while and ask yourself why you care so much what people think?
I'm writing this just as much for me as for you.
Because in real life, I swear. A lot. 🤬
If you've worked with me privately, you'll know this.
But if you only know me online, you might be surprised to hear how many times I'll say the F word when I'm speaking with passion.
But online, I've got a massive block around allowing myself to swear in posts.

The thought of writing the word makes me want to vomit. 🤮
I'm council estate born and bred, and I shop at Tesco.
I couldn't be more working class if I tried lol.
And I don't think I pretend to be otherwise.
Except for the swearing.

Anyway, there is some odd planetary activity at the moment that is activating our fears and triggers.
So there is a very high chance that if you are speaking
your truth, you will trigger someone - and they will tell you.
But that isn't a reason not to speak your truth. 🗣️
