Twenty-five years ago, on September 11, 2001, I was walking south on 6th Avenue. As I stood at the corner of West 10th Street by the Jefferson Market clock tower, I took this photograph. At 10:28 am, I witnessed the North Tower fall. It is a day of sorrow I will hold in my heart forever. We must never forget the innocent lives lost and the incredible heroes who died saving them. 🕊️🇺🇸 #NeverForget #September11

25 years have passed since September 11, 2001. A generation has grown up in the years since, but our responsibility to remember has not changed.

We remember the people who went to work that morning and never came home, and we remember the families who have carried their memories every day since.

We will continue to tell their stories, honor their lives, and express our enduring gratitude for the heroism shown that day.
