“Depression can’t catch a moving target.”
Nah. Be so fr. It’s more complex than that. The last thing that family needs is for people like you to make assumptions of a life you know nothing about.
Respectfully, shut your bitch ass up.
I’m not Roman Catholic. In fact, I’m quite comfortably atheist.
But Pope Francis, in his own quiet way, embodied something that transcended doctrine. Within the constraints of a deeply traditional institution, he managed to be open, curious, and surprisingly human.
There was a gentleness to him, a sense that he listened as much as he spoke.
I may not share his faith, but I deeply respected his ability to make room for difference. We don’t need to agree to live respectfully beside one another, just the willingness to try.
Digital literacy is in shambles. People react first, think later (if at all). The lines between art, persona, n reality have never been blurrier. And honestly that’s why it has to be done. If nothing else, it forces people to confront just how easily they’re manipulated, whether they realise it or not.
If discourse has devolved into little more than outrage and echo chambers, then perhaps the real problem isn’t who’s right, but the fact that no one is actually listening.
It’s fascinating, in a rather tragic way, how politics reduces otherwise rational people into warring tribes, hurling insults as if volume equates to wisdom. The irony, of course, is that no one has ever been enlightened by being yelled at.
Your favourite politician isn’t your mate, they’re not a superhero, and they’re definitely not above criticism. If they expect undying devotion, maybe you should start asking your cult leader some questions.
Whatever you do, don’t vote based on blind loyalty.
At least do it for the good of the country, not because you think some politician is your personal saviour. That level of piety should be reserved for dogs, not people who lie for a living.
