@sirjoshwood@BoardGameGeek Well deserved! We had a similar story to yours - everything booked for 2020 and eventually went last year. We loved it so much we will be back next spring. That said, can I give you our itinerary for the expansion? Joke aside: On a scale from 1 to Osaka, is one in the making?
@jessesingal They have been accused of questionable practices by a plethora of sources neither the band nor Lindemann's denied. Why can't there be protest against this? This isn't cancel culture, it's a slogan. Some people taking to the streets won't stop three stadium shows from happening.

@gengelstein the people of the fun playing (or even keeping them from purchasing) a game by an unaffiliated company, taking the author's source material and creating something new and supposedly quite good with it? In my opinion, this blows any reasonable SJ cause of proportion. 2/2
@gengelstein Just to clarify my position: You can have a strong stance towards JKR and therefore personally boycott the game or maybe even argue a position, why you recommended others doing the same.
But why would you spoil the game for others, with the likely goal of robbing 1/2
@gengelstein My initial feeling was token/card. Like the others already said, you have some information about what could and what won't happen. Wonderland's War fell flat for me for the same reason: I knew, that the bag's content was bad and nothing could save me. A die roll always can.
@gengelstein@KindFortress Rajas of the Ganges. Both go in opposite directions around the board, which works well and both markers meeting is also the end game trigger.
@moregamespls True. I'd be fine with a good game where the theme is only superficially there, though. Like beloved characters or iconic settings. But all they managed so far was very luck heavy and not interesting at all.
@moregamespls Hello!
I've been into Final Fantasy XIV for some time now (and FF in general my whole life). Despite SquareEnix owning the most popular MMO and overall very successful franchise, they seem to be unable to turn out a decent board game. I've tried several, they really fall flat.
@FF_XIV_EN Urianger is a card bender! 😦 This needs to be called out. I'd never invite him to board game night. I'll rather keep my cards in pristine condition.
