One day when I retire from playing, I'm going to release all the writings over the years of my thoughts, theories, and philosophy regarding this game series.
So many people think that in order to be great at something, they need to sacrifice their time with their family and friends, when it’s precisely the opposite, when you are surrounded by the right people, people who love and support you unconditionally, you achieve so much more.
Consistent progress simply means that you know, at least for a few hours a day, how to ignore the whole world in order to focus on what needs to be done.
You don’t need to convince the world that you are on the right path in life, you just need to look at yourself in a mirror, look at the people you have or don’t have around, look at the life you currently lead, be honest about how you feel about it, and adjust what you don’t like
You unnecessarily suffer mentally when you take yourself too seriously.
If you are lucky to be alive and woke up this morning with the opportunity to improve your life, that’s all you need to feel grateful.
Step back a little bit, focus on the positive, don’t live in your mind.
People are not aware of their biggest regrets until they meet someone no more talented than them who achieved far more, mainly because they didn’t take themselves too seriously and had the courage to try, fail, try again from scratch, over and over again, with infinite patience.
