🚨 NEW POST | PREPARED FOR PARIS - PART 1
With the US Men's Soccer Squad for the 2024 Paris Olympics officially released, I gave my thoughts on the roster!

@VanillaMX17 Wasn’t trying to play reporter here… just stated what I thought would be a good fit for Owen Wolff would be - that’s what the thread is about. But he’s absolutely good enough for the Championship… though anywhere would be better than Austin for him.
Duncan McGuire (ST | '01 | Orlando City SC)
Ideal Fit: Sunderland AFC 🏴
Sunderland are in need of a striker, and McGuire could fit the bill. McGuire was prolific last season with 13 goals and, despite taking a back seat to Luis Muriel, has still been clinical when called-upon.
This was a great thread! I'm also working on a more in depth "USMNT Summer Transfer Forecast" which will drop on my Substack in the near future.
In the meanwhile, I figured I'd take a crack at listing my ideal fits for the U23 MLS Americans.
The club I think would be the best fit for USMNT guys that need a move this summer, a thread:
(Only listing guys already in Europe that I think could be first team players or are getting close, might do a separate one for U23 MLS guys)
Diego Luna (AM/W | '03 | Real Salt Lake)
Ideal Fit: SL Benfica 🇵🇹
With João Mário out of form and out of contract, Diego Luna could offer Benfica cover at CAM behind Rafa Silva, while also competing with Schjelderup, Gouveia, and Prestianni for the starting Left Wing spot.
@ProspectsUsmnt@USMNTvsHaters Could be, but I'm not sure it is. A lot of the criticism for Dest is similar to the criticism for Frimpong before Xabi Alonso brought his system to Leverkusen. I think Dest could thrive at a higher level at a club that runs a Three-at-the-Back defense with attacking wingbacks.
