The conference action continues as we roll right into hosting our annual Northern Sales and Aftersales Manager Conferences. We’ve welcomed 250 excellent leaders through the doors this week.

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming 120 of our business partners for our bi-annual Supplier Conference. An excellent opportunity to network, update and recognise the value in these relationships. @WTWcorporate took the crown of Supplier of the Year this time.

It was a joy to celebrate the winners of our Group Management Awards this weekend in Edinburgh, and as coincidence go - this was a great one...
On Saturday evening, after we all hurried into taxis to escape the evening's rain, the group in mine engaged in usual conversation with the driver about our visit to the city – long story short – our @thetaxicentre business was brought up, and unbelievably, the one taxi that we were sat in happened to be the only one in Edinburgh with a bespoke Taxi Centre livery, which you can see below.

The driver happened to be a customer of ours named Terry Dickson - Terry bought a vehicle from us at a roadshow back in September 2023. Our excellent Taxi Centre Field Sales Manager, Jordan Walker, agreed a deal with Terry for Servicing in exchange for the Taxi Centre livery, and it looks fantastic.

As Scotland’s leading retailer of London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) vehicles, we hope to see more #TheTaxiCentre taxis like this one on the roads of Edinburgh, and beyond. It was great to meet you, Terry!

We've had a brilliant weekend at the five star Caledonian Edinburgh hosting Management Award winners and their partners, there was a formal awards ceremony as well as time to relax, use the spa and explore the city.

The Group is proud to finally be able to share that Jessica Gregorio, one of our Senior Creative Designers based at our Gateshead Marketing Studio, has had her design selected for a new commemorative 50p coin celebrating 50 years of @KingsTrust – a truly remarkable achievement.

A very festive day in Head Office today, crowning our Christmas Jumper Champions. I am also pleased to announce that we raised a whopping £1876 in today’s raffle which we plan to donate to @stoswaldsuk 's Hospice, an excellent result well done everyone!

Our final Elite Sales Guild training session & celebration event of 2025. The top 50 sellers in in the Group, its great to be able to teach but also learn from them! We crowned our top 3 achievers & announced those who had made it into their third consecutive year!

Today we announced the Tom Fairgrieve Company person of the Year. Craig Jones our divisional finance director for JLR division is the very worthy winner and a true Vertu man. Well done Craig.

We way be feeling festive but it’s business as usual as we offer a warm welcome to our new starters and promoted colleagues at this weeks Managers Induction. A tour of the ‘Vertu Village’ and a dinner with @vertumotorsCEO and other Senior Directors was on the agenda.

This weekend central colleagues got to let their hair down and celebrate the festive season after a year of hard work. We had two fantastic parties with lot's of great music, dancing, chatting, food & sparkles.
