VerusID is the core technology that solves self-sovereign identity and gives everyone a self-sovereign digital signature and an easy way to use and verify.

Creators can bind any form of content, contracts, legal rights to an ID and its ownership.

Payments and offers can use private zk-SNARK addresses for native currency, and legal contracts and rights can be bound to IDs and/or NFTs, making Verus the first decentralized network to offer private, middleman-free, on-chain commerce of all forms.

Currencies/NFTs minted on the Verus network can be exported as erc20/erc721 to Ethereum.

Hey @lex_node, that definitely doesn't apply to the Verus community. We have set new standards wrt decentralized tech.

Verus (L1&L0 network) was fairly launched without ICO, pre-mine, dev tax and insider allocations.

Instead of smart contracts, Verus has implemented smart transactions, which enable programming at consensus level in a composable way. Smart transactions are more powerful than smart contracts and solve problems that cannot be solved at the blockchain application layer, such as MEV or private key revocation&recovery.

The Verus cross-chain protocol enables provable bridging (no multisig!) between Ethereum and all other Verus PBaaS appchains.

On Verus, miners and stakers are reponsible for DeFi transaction solving. All transactions are solved simultaneously for 1+ blocks, making Verus the only inter- and intra block MEV resistant blockchain. All fees go to miners, stakers, and liquidity providers.

Verus is not like ETH or even BTC, in that it is the first multi-currency protocol. The core protocol checks all inputs and outputs of all currencies, like ETH does only for ETH or BTC does only for BTC.

Verus DeFi does not require 3rd party oracles/external price feeds because it has built-in arbitrage incentives. Verus is setting prices based on the buy/sell volume on the Verus on-chain currencies/tokens directly, so our own order volume determines prices. This is an automatic market and the trades are completed at the prices worked out for this block when they get added to the blockchain.

Verus DeFi does not require server infrastructure.

Verus' native DeFi capability makes it the only global payment network without a Third-Party Settlement Organization.
