the world quests seem like the writers are trying to concrete the “love is a curse” idea (i turned you into fungus or i conspired to have you trapped in another realm because of love). basically one doing very questionable things like starting the apocalypse to keep paimon safe

Furthermore, if this is the case I think it would be neat for the current story lines to be “I tricked families with young children into turning themselves into a hive consciousness fungus colony in the name of love” vs “Im making sure children have toys in the name of not love”
