@alc2022 Can't wait for the retweet in 2029 when the stock is $300+ a share and analysts are tripping over each other with upgrades. The passage of time is so pleasurable when you make great decisions.
@StudentToStreet@stocktalkweekly Lol you're right. But in all seriousness, I think they're often directionally correct on their calls and future-casting. Except for the AI buildout (they've been MIA there) and their market timing + capital allocation is just low IQ and evaporative. Billions in AUM lost to time.
@stocktalkweekly Seriously. I didn’t realize the underperformance was this bad. We’re in a mega bull market, dozens of stocks (many of which they’ve owned and sold) have had life-changing returns and they’re negative? Embarrassing. Even if taken from 2022 lows, they haven’t even kept up w/ $QQQ
@CuriousTraderIE@alc2022 Same honestly. I was hoping for low 70s or even single digits like the bears have been saying. But I guess some ppl realize money printers never get that cheap. Still hoping for lower but after they couldn’t keep it even under a 100 today, we may be further disappointed.
@AXInvestX@alc2022 Show me the same for Meta, Netflix, Spotify, etc. Law of large #'s. Could mean they're reaching a plateau, but we've seen this before w/ non-linear growth companies.
@alc2022 Incremental DAU + bookings increase. 200-400M upsized buyback. 15-20% YoY rev growth. I don't care what the stock does in reaction. I do care, however, about hearing more about learning outcomes, ROI from AI, adoption of video chats, radio, chess, marketing of new verticals, etc.
@CMDarnton0 It’s inevitable. $DUOL at these prices is easily 50-100% undervalued, and that’s conservative. Patiently waiting until the 4th for them to announce an upsized share buyback in the 200-400m range and more upbeat user growth than their intentionally bearish FY estimate.
@alc2022 You’re way too humble honestly. But the wins speak for themselves I suppose. The haters must be vomiting all over themselves. Looking back on this time a few years out will be excruciating painful for some. Others will just buy while they can.
