@xwanyex Bro, you need to be using expansion pex. Crimping is insane work. Get you the Milwaukee expansion tool. It is plumbing on the easiest if easy modes.
@xwanyex YouTube videos, but it does bring up a good point about DIY stuff pre Internet. You had to have friends in trades or with know how to help you learn or you had to call a trade out. I think costs of repairs were probably much more tolerable back then though.
@OldHollowTree Plus that house is an absolute POS. Dude used a filter on a screenshot to make it look like it was anything other than an absolute Trainwreck.
I genuinely donβt understand why people donβt sell everything they have, move to Iowa, buy a beautiful old house for next to nothing, and start enjoying a simpler, better, and more affordable life.
@CoFoundersNik You're paying too much. You need to pay per task/hourly on branch gathering. Trust me, I know because entirely too much time is spent gathering branches on my property. If you go the hourly route you can micromanage their progress.
@xwanyex You need to build your kids a cedar box for random animal finds that they are allowed to keep the creatures in for one night. Keeps the animals alive and keeps the kids searching
@OldHollowTree You also need basic electrical skills and various other home repair skills as well. Doorknobs, cabinets, trim etc. All those things will need repairs more often than you would think.
@JocktaviousGiga@RandalHendrick9 I would always laugh at how bad some of the more normie coded metal bands would be when people would find out I like heavier music and started asking me if I liked such and such band
@theoldsargesays@natehowe I know why, I just think it's funny to get nickel and dimed like that. I'm pretty sure that one of the benefits of my Hilton gold status is still listed as "free WiFi" as if they charge for it at some properties.
