@WagieCapital @blu5rose Yes all 6 30 min episodes were good, HOTD season one was on par in quality and 10 one hour epis, all the people with this take are book purists going off recency bias. I’m all for saying s2 and s3 have issues, and a lot of the changes suck, but saying it’s all trash is wrong.

If we had both here we get the gullet to end season 2. Could have given Dareon a better build up so we see him earn his the daring title.

@NerdInWhileLoop It was one six episode season. I get it was great and faithful, but let’s not act like HOTD season one wasn’t comparable in terms of quality, and for the most part faithful to the book. George RR was fully involved at that point, once they stopped listening to him it got messy.

Also could have given Daeron an episode to earn his name “the Daring” this season instead of just skipping it and having it be said.
