Oh, this is pretty huge. They're going to be updating the FFXI free trial to have no time restriction like XIV, playable up to 75 indefinitely.

@kvetanuki It's absolutely 100% better than their previous trial, and while I think it'd be smart to maybe include like RoZ and CoP to let people dig in a little, the 3 base nation storylines are solid and worth experiencing, so there's plenty of content to chew through.

I don't think they confirmed a date for when this goes live, btw. Probably sooner rather than later with the anniversary going on, but I'd just keep an eye out of you're interested! XI is an awesome game, and I'd love to see more people check it out.

@mustachedave Only base game jobs if they don't change their tune on expansion access, so WAR, MNK, WHM, BLM, RDM, THF, PLD, DRK, BST, BRD, RNG, and SMN will be available as of now.

@kawaiiempoleon They said just base game, but hopefully they change their tune and add in a few of the earlier ones. Base will include the three nation storylines (most of which are pretty great, honestly) so there's still a fair amount to play through and see if you vibe with the game
