@GeorgeWParker@RyePottery@labboudles@FTMag It’s extraordinary-given its history -and all the grubby hands that have wanted it for a thousand years-that it’s survived in relatively good condition.
Getting excited by the growing interest in the imminent arrival of The Bayeux Tapestry. We’re about to add a new figure to our hand-made collection of intricate ceramic figures depicting William the Conqueror, Harold Godwinson, Edward the Confessor, Bishop Odo & Edith Swan Neck…
@AnastasiaRoya20 I saw you love Jane Austen. I have a little (very old) book you might like to see. The first one is showing the book, and the other 3 are photos of my book. It’s so fantastic to read. Published September 1808.
@Sneketoshi I hesitate to share knowing lots of people draw mandalas now. I started drawing them in 2015 before the mandala drawing apps were available. The first one is the earliest.
Thanks for looking. 🎨
@Sneketoshi I feel like I’ve just been around the world looking at these sketches. There is such movement-the wind blown tree is my favourite. The Campervan ‘Roo’ could have been parked somewhere in Australia or somewhere…anywhere else with camping grounds. Thank you so much Sir for sharing
@Elle5439@TheRoyalGrift You’re right. ‘Fuckery’ is the only word that fits. Any headline is better than no headline. Just once it would be so great for her (or H ‘as she calls him)to practice what they preach. Too much to ask apparently. Recollections ALWAYS vary.
@TheRoyalGrift C’mon!! She has an amazing very close family. Of course she doesn’t see them, probably not ‘practical’ to see her Dad? Costs a lot to fly all that way. She has two young children that she looks after, must be very difficult. One has to wonder Will a book like this ever exist?
@historical_Afr@Sky_Lee_1 ‘Fletcher, known affectionately by her community and family as “Mother Fletcher,” might have only been 7 years old the night the attack on Greenwood began, but so devastating were the horrors that prevailed over those 18 hours that the memories remain’ May it NEVER happen again.
