@TaliesinEvitel Inspired by "Tendies" addon, I asked r/wow to rename crests and they made https://t.co/PsrHCEV2qD just as I described it.
It's still a bit limited in function, but maybe someone better at addons can make it rename crests everywhere? I'd *pay* for it
@HamletEJ@healiocentric With websites collapsing, I'm down to "shared discords" mostly for distant people passive social presence, and I think that's specifically not your thing :D
With the loss of tweetdeck, I'm definitely outie. I don't think I want to replace this site with another microthing right now? If you have an RSS, I might write on here a few times a year https://t.co/LaQC5Z50m0 - I've had this for longer than twitter.
While on this exit ramp, I'd like to say hey to @healiocentric , who I admire greatly and whose postcard is still on my wall. You're like the exact level of micro-celebrity that I care about.
And @HamletEJ who I found *independently* of her so at some point had an avengers moment
@Wonton_ In theory, there is armor we could put on soldiers that would make them nigh-invulnerable to most regular-arms fire, and yet they don't all wear it
@xvicount So in the end, balancing happens at the table and the game really is about: How much or how little numberwang do you want? 5E is still kinda up there, surpassed by only the obvious candidates (all previous editions, PF, DSA and minor systems nobody actually uses)
@xvicount Is it Balanced? Well uhhh... that really fully depends on what you run into, right? And the game just doesn't have enough mechanics to measure "a fair amount of difficult enemy to throw at players" (unless you go really deep) like Pathfinder has for example.
@ChaosSmurf As someone who has been on the inside: Yes it absolutely sucks, everyone knows it and is laughing about it, and it's never going back to anything better
@umbraviolet https://t.co/rAg3J2HKiT related to your inquiry is this song, which if anyone asks is covered by the first amendment or (as germany calls it, and they in another song: Kunstfreiheit)
