We are pleased to share that the VETCOM Project was presented at the VetNEST Annual Meeting 2026, held on September 10–11, 2026, at the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice, Slovakia.
We are proud to share that our project member Ksenija Ilievska represented the VETCOM Project at the 39th General Assembly of the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE), held in Barcelona on 28–29 May.

The final two groups from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Skopje recently visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb as part of WP3. These visits represent the last mobilities to Zagreb within WP3, concluding an important phase of academic exchange and collaboration.
We are proud to share that the VETCOM project was presented through a poster presentation at the 11th International Congress Veterinary Science and Profession, held on 23–24 February 2026 and organized by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb.

The visits from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Skopje to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine University of Zagreb have been completed for this year. A total of four groups with 25 participants visited Zagreb in order to attend lectures and exchange experiences.
The visits from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Skopje to the Faculty in Zagreb have been unfolding with a huge success. These visits and exchanges in experience will help further the success of VETCOM and the development of an English curriculum for veterinary education.
Within the framework of the VETCOM project, the teaching and administrative staff from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – Skopje visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine University of Zagreb.
In the upcoming year, the teaching and administrative staff from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Skopje will have the opportunity to visit the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine University of Zagreb in order to exchange experiences regarding the syllabus for the English program
Having successfully presented the final presentations, the teaching and administrative staff at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Skopje, has completed the English language and Communication Skills training course
The participants of the second phase of the training course summarised the training with inspiring and creative presentations.
The presentations were an opportunity for each of the participants to show their progress, newly acquired knowledge and communication skills developed.
We would like to announce that the second training course for the staff at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Skopje began yesterday on 7th of May and will last for the next two weeks, being led by Lisa Grice and Sara Perry from @Atlas_Dublin
We are pleased to inform you that the two-week training course in English language and proficiency, implemented by lecturers from Atlas Language School was completed successfully.
We were very pleased to finally welcome Paul Finnerty and Lisa Grice from @Atlas_Dublin at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Skopje. With their arrival we kicked-off the two-week training course for improving English language proficiency in veterinary medicine for the staff.
👩🏫With great pleasure we are announcing that 1st of April will be the start of the training course for our staff by two lecturers from @Atlas_Dublin.
📅The training will last a total of two weeks, and will be attended by 18 participants from our staff.
We are excited to announce that @Atlas_Dublin has finilised the syllabus needed for the training courses.
With this, we can begin the three groups of training courses, starting with the first on April 1.

With the Holidays coming up and the year coming to an end, we can happily announce that we finished phase 1 of WP2. This phase included identifying the needs for the English language training course for the staff at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Skopje.
