I apologize in advance as this may be a long tweet. Before you believe the narrative that Canada is broken. I served in the CAF for over decades of my life. I frequently left home for months on end and here's the thing while we were away from home, we didn't talk about politics..
How will you mark Memorial Day on July 1? Please participate in a remembrance ceremony in your local community to help us honour our fallen and all those who served #LestWeForget#NL#Sacrifice
Jennifer Johnson’s bizarre, hateful comments about transgender children have no place in our province.
Danielle Smith must stop standing behind Johnson and immediately remove her as the UCP candidate for Lacombe-Ponoka.

Wishing the Dutch people a very happy Liberation Day. Nearly 8,000 Canadians gave their lives in the fight to free them from Nazi tyranny. #CanadaRemembers them and celebrates this enduring friendship.
#OnThisDay 1943 @RoyalCanNavy corvette HMCS Weyburn struck a mine off Cape Spartel, near Tangier and the Strait of Gibraltar.
The mine had been laid three weeks earlier by U-118. Its explosion and subsequent explosions of the corvette's depth charges cost the lives of 8 sailors.
😠Don't mess with the Oak Ridges Moraine. @fordnation If we start paving over (capping) the Moraine it can't replenish the aquifers. The Legislation for it + the Greenbelt were science based decisions, not economic. 250,000+ depend on the well water. 25+ rivers flow from here.
Thank you to @bayshore_health and @CalianGroup for their continued support. This year's gift boxes for veterans are filled with amazing items from local and/or indigenous-owned businesses. We will finish up deliveries across the National Capital Region in the coming days.
Across generations, Canadians have dedicated their lives to preserve peace. To honour those who have served and continue to serve, we pause for 2 minutes of silence. Make November 11 the most unforgettable day of the year. #CanadaRemembers

We remember WO Patrice Vincent who lost his life on this day in St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu in 2014 due to a deliberate attack while he was in uniform.
Lest we forget.
Before Heading to College or University, Make a #MentalHealth Checklist. Students should not wait until they are on campus to begin thinking about how to protect their emotional well-being, experts say, by @cdcaron https://t.co/8PgbSIVrxy via @nytimeswell#HigherEd
