@DiscussingFilm It might suck for collectors to not have discs, but it's harsh on those budget friendly gamers who want to buy, play, and sell their games on to recoup some money.
Being able to sell your digital license for a game would be great.
@DiscussingFilm I might get hate for this but I agree with Sony's decision, and I think people are so heavily sat on the no disc thing that the real problem they should be complaining about is the rights (or lack thereof) to owning digital content.
@lmkifiwin@DoesItPlay1 My last disc was RDR2 a year after it released.
Truthfully, this movement shouldn't be about discs but rather the policies on ownership of digital content.
@MikeyGaymer@PlayStationUK The no disc, no buy thing is stupid. Should simply be "no ownership, no buy".
The problem isn't a lack of disc, because disc sales are in major decline anyway.
It's the policies around ownership of digital content, monopoly of the ps store and lack of resale.
@thechito20@SonySantaMonica@PlayStation Discs aren't being phased out until 2028. Only Rockstar is doing codes because printing discs early on means theft risk and leaks for what is probably the most anticipated game of the decade.
GTA 6 will have a disc version a few months after release.
@Bright_Ng__ Going Rooney just for the card design and his versatile positioning.
Aguero is a midget and the Blitz is pointless unless he's playing off the left which makes him easier to mark because he won't have good enough dribbling to get past anyone.
@Temple_cfc People that abuse Blitz Curlers are tossers, and the best option for me will be Rooney because of his diverse positioning. He should be able to play most central positions and LWF.
@WrestleOps This is how wrestling should be. Everyone should be written off like a soap opera, whether it be a victory, a loss, a tragic death. You're ending a career for a character, not the person behind it.
@PlayStation It's not the end of the world though, rather than fighting for discs. Perhaps fight for the right to be able to permanently keep your digital assets, and have access to multiple retailers so you're not forced to buy from just the Playstation store itself.
@PlayStation My point is... Sony have sold almost 94mil PS5's. That's millions of homes and millions of people, who simply don't care to argue under EVERY post.
Sony doesn't care. They're not bringing discs back. The market dropped severely for that to recover.
@EASPORTSFC Also hoping there's more to come for career mode. Overhauling transfers is great, but it looks reskinned from that trailer. Like it's the same thing, but new presentation.
Dynamic potential looks worthwhile, but there's much more they can add.
@EASPORTSFC This absolutely stinks yet again. Do anything and everything with the gameplay but slow it down to a realistic level. There's no realistic body momentum for skills and players twist and turn too unrealistically. Stamina has to be reworked so the pace of a game is true to life.
Genuinely appreciate you hitting the ground running as PM @andyburnham
It would be nice to revive our culture and patriotism.
Visit any country in the world and they'll welcome you, but you know where you stand when it comes to their culture.
The UK is a free for all.
@hammer_ONE@iiamcloudman It'll probably be sold separately, but more for the sake of backwards compatibility as they're obviously preparing to stop discs.
It's a shame, but eventually Microsoft will do the same.
@mrpyo1 A business wants to be a business and people are mad over it?
I get the whole ownership thing, but that's the way the world is moving now. We lost music to streaming, TV and film to streaming, and now gaming too.
I have a disc console but I've played mostly digital.
