@S0NDER1NG Agreed! And this includes clicking on links to articles, videos etc. Show everybody that matters how much this show is loved, and how faithful the audience remains.
@latendreguerre@suikamelon6 I like the TVL writers’ solution this season: dense, multi-layered storytelling powered by phenomenal acting, music and production design.
Ok, now I’m just getting excited for S4 🤣
@latendreguerre@suikamelon6 Oh, I agree! It won’t affect my enjoyment of the show at all. I’m tuning in even if it comes down to six actors and a stage 🤣 (not that it’ll come to that. But I’m all in no matter what - I love, and am inspired, by these creatives).
@latendreguerre@suikamelon6 And I don’t make it past a few eps of S2 of HOTD. I just had too many nitpicks and they all began to add it up to it not being worth it.
@latendreguerre@suikamelon6 It’s often said that limitations stimulate creativity, which might be one of the reasons why the TVL writers had to commit so hard to a bold vision.
Still, I’m sure they’d rather have a little more cash to play with 🤣
@peepyhead12345 I mean, if you want to judge actions be a literal judge or a priest 🤷♀️
But the way to read gothic stuff is to look at all the monsters and map your monstrousness to theirs. I’m Louis sun and rising, btw, with a Lestat moon.
@satansnightowl7 It explains so much about how people talk about stories mind you…and why some people can’t cope with gothic horror (for example).
It’s so weird though!
???
My mind becomes a theatre. The book plays itself within it.
I’m not in the book at all. I’m reading it.
The way people talk about reading now is so, so odd.
@suikamelon6 Basically, I think he was on a journey here, lol! Dancing back and forth between what he felt and what he allowed himself to feel.
Whereas Lestat was 😍 from the very start.
@suikamelon6 That would make sense! He was definitely still holding off from admitting it even after their night together.
But I think you're right in that after one of those bench chats, he surprised himself with the realisation of his feelings, but pushed it away. And then...the altar.
