I have enormous confidence in AMC and the 2026/2027 box office. So today, using my own money, I bought 250,000 more AMC shares personally, at market price.
I now own outright 2,437,020 AMC shares, raising the total where I have an economic interest to 12,322,429 AMC shares*
It actually can be very hard for a CEO of a public company to buy shares. You have to clear having possession of any material non public information, sort out implications of any ongoing debt and equity transactions, and not be in a quiet period before when earnings will be announced. I was finally in a position to buy even more AMC shares today, and I did.
As I said, I have great confidence in AMC’s future. So, again today, I put my money where my mouth is.
This brings my holdings up to 12.3 million shares* of AMC common stock. My understanding is that I have been, and now even more so I remain, AMC’s biggest individual retail investor.
I should probably mention that I have not sold even a single share of AMC stock since January of 2022, more than four years ago.
I RIDE WITH YOU !!!

(*For precision: this includes AMC shares I already own, and those which previously have been granted to me as part of my annual compensation and which will vest based on length of service and at target levels of performance over the next thirty three months, on a pre-tax basis.)
Yesterday’s Super Bowl featured a mesmerizing ad for Ryan Gosling’s new movie Project Hail Mary. From Amazon MGM. It looks terrific. Especially on AMC’s giant screens.
AMC had over 753,000 guests for Netflix’s Stranger Things series finale. Collecting over $15.0 million, in just 2 days.
More than half of the “Strangers Things in theatres” phenomenon took place at an AMC.
We are excited to bring more Netflix content to AMC Theatres !!!!!
As of noon EST today, the share price of Hycroft stock is exploding upwards. Combining our recent stock sale and our retained warrants and shares, our initial $28 million investment is now worth around $41 million all-in marked to market.

To honor the great Diane Keaton, we will play two of her most noted movies featuring truly iconic roles. Annie Hall (1977) and Something’s Gotta Give (2003). At 100 AMC theatres in the U.S., starting this Friday for one week.
She lights up the big screen.
La-di-da. La-di-da.
We announced today that AMC Entertainment successfully extinguished an additional $40 million of debt, and that it cost us essentially nothing incrementally to do so.
There was a clause in our July 2025 refinancing that contemplated this possibility, if certain things happened in August and September. They did happen as we hoped they would, and so this extra $40 million of debt went away.
It is only about 1% of our long term debt, but every bit helps. A small step forward is still a step forward.
Here is a really tall video billboard in New York’s Times Square proclaiming AMC’s fabulous new pricing deal. At AMC, it’s 50% Off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for regular movie tickets for AMC Stubs members (it’s free to instantly join). Terms/conditions apply, see our web site.

In a nutshell, here it is: It is a simple reality, and hopefully a harbinger of things to come, that as AMC’s revenues grow, our EBITDA can soar.
Our second quarter results are a combination of a recovering industry-wide box office, and the undeniable fact that both AMC and Odeon are executing so well in so many different ways. Indeed, we shattered all-time records across nearly every per patron metric. For the first time ever, consolidated admissions revenue per patron topped $12, coming in at $12.14. Consolidated food and beverage revenue per guest jumped to a record of $7.95. Total consolidated revenue per patron hit an unprecedented $22.26 for us.
These new records powerfully validate our strategic initiatives and that consumers view moviegoing at AMC and Odeon as highly attractive out-of-home entertainment experiences.
Retail investors need to tell MrBeast the truth: the $2 million Mr. Griffin gave him is dirty money — likely stolen from hardworking Americans. Griffin was at the center of the biggest market scandal in 2021 and is now using MrBeast as a PR stunt to scrub his filthy reputation. His companies rig the stock market, rob retail investors blind, and cook the books with accounting fraud. MrBeast should read the hard evidence on Citadel at InvestorTurf, and retail investors should make sure he sees it.
AMC will announce our Q2 2025 earnings on Monday August 11 at 5:00 pm EDT. At that same time, we will hold an earnings webcast, through the AMC web site at https://t.co/3nFHhlVmuw. I encourage all of you who are interested in the progress AMC is making to join us for the webcast.
In just the first day, we received consent from more than 80% of AMC’s Term Loan Lenders to
yesterday’s big news that AMC reached a collaborative agreement with other AMC lenders to raise $223 million of new financing and to allow the immediate conversion of $143 million of debt to equity.
We needed consent from only 50% of AMC’s Term Loan Lenders for this to happen. So, now these transactions can and will proceed.
This is a tremendous step forward for AMC, as it is an undeniable vote of confidence from our lenders in the viability of AMC’s future success.

This is enormously good news for AMC.
Today, AMC issued a press release with a major announcement that is one of the more important developments in AMC's multi-year effort to fight back from the ravages that COVID prompted in 2020 (and its resulting aftermath since) both on the movie theatre industry generally and on our company specifically.
Today we announced that AMC has signed a collaborative agreement with some of our most key lenders. If consented to by our Term Loan Lenders through a public consent process being launched today, it will do all of this:
1. Bring more than $220 million into our company's treasury through the issuance of new debt which can be used to refinance 2026 debt principal repayment obligations.
2. Convert $143 million of debt into equity now, and set in motion a path that could convert even more debt to equity up to a total of $337 million, each of which significantly further delevers AMC.
3. Fully resolve the litigation from some of the holders of our 7.5% Senior Secured Notes, that arose from our also substantial activity in the summer of 2024 to refinance much of our debt that previously was due in 2026 and now is not due until 2029 and 2030.
This strengthening of our balance sheet is the result of highly complex negotiations, and is clear evidence that we have vital and strong support from so many of our lenders.
And it comes at a time when the growing box office since April has been roaring loudly. Thank you to Minecraft, Sinners, Lilo & Stitch, Thunderbolts*, Final Destination Bloodlines, Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, How to Train Your Dragon, F1, Jurassic World Rebirth, Superman and so many more appealing movies!
For full details, I urge you to read the press release that AMC issued this morning and/or our 8-K that was filed with the SEC.
