Hello, Treasure Maker! This is Junkyu.
I thought a lot about how I should begin this letter, but I hope my sincere feelings are conveyed as they are, so please read it.
Since our debut in 2020, it's already been about six years that I've spent together with Treasure Maker.
During that time, thanks to the immense love you've given me, every single moment has been truly precious and happy.
However, as I kept looking only ahead and running forward with all my strength, I think there came a point where I gradually overlooked the signals my heart and body were giving me.
Because I only wanted to show you my best self, I kept pushing myself without stopping. But now, I've realized that I need to take some time to pause and look after myself.
So, after discussing it thoroughly with the company, I've decided to temporarily suspend my activities and take some time to rest.
To Treasure Maker, who must have been caught off guard by this sudden news, I'm truly sorry for causing you worry.
But I believe this pause is necessary for me to become a healthier and stronger version of myself. I will rest well, organize my thoughts, and come back to you in a healthier state.
Thank you always, and I love you, Treasure Maker.

GET THEM! SUE THEM!
Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We are continuously taking legal action against criminal acts that infringe upon BTS’s rights and interests, including defamation, insults, sexual harassment, and malicious slander. We would like to provide an update on the major legal actions taken as of the second quarter of 2026. 1. Comprehensive Monitoring and Application of a Zero-Tolerance Policy Toward Malicious Posts Through our own monitoring system and the valuable reports submitted by fans, we are collecting evidence in real time of malicious posts about the artists posted on major online communities. In accordance with these efforts, one individual—who repeatedly posted entirely baseless and fabricated information across various online platforms to disparage our artists—had charges of both defamation via false information and criminal insult sustained. This perpetrator has subsequently received a deferred prosecution disposition, which is contingent upon their successful completion of a mandatory educational program. During this quarter, we also filed complaints against the authors of malicious posts related to BTS on domestic communities (TheQoo, Instiz, Naver, Daum (Women’s Generation, Jjukbbang, Souldresser, etc.), Nate, Dmitory, numerous galleries on DC Inside including the BTS, Male Celebrity, and Korean Entertainment galleries, Ilgan Best, FMKorea, and others), music sites (Melon, Bugs Music, Genie Music, and others), and overseas social media channels (Threads, X, Instagram, YouTube, Telegram, and others). Furthermore, we wish to inform you that in addition to our regular filing cycles, we have initiated additional ongoing complaint procedures. In particular, we are relentlessly tracking down and holding legally accountable, without exception, those responsible for malicious hate speech intended to evade punishment behind anonymity and fake news that is systematically promoted. We also wish to inform you that we are tracking and responding to acts involving the leaking and distribution of content that has not been made public. Even in cases where individuals attempt to destroy evidence by deleting posts after publishing them, all such cases are included as subjects of complaints without exception based on our real-time evidence collection system. We will take the strongest possible legal measures, without any settlement or leniency, against all acts that inflict mental suffering on our artists. 2. Guilty Verdict for Crimes Involving Trespassing at an Artist’s Residence and Stalking With regard to the crime involving the invasion of our artists’ privacy, which was a matter of great concern for fans, we would like to share the trial result of the case announced in the first quarter (charges of violating the Stalking Punishment Act and trespassing). An arrest warrant was issued for the defendant who trespassed at an artist’s residence and repeatedly engaged in stalking behavior. The defendant underwent a criminal trial while being detained in a detention center for approximately three months, and the court, recognizing the seriousness of the offense, sentenced the defendant to one year of imprisonment with a two-year suspended sentence. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy without leniency toward offenders targeting our artists, and this applies equally to both Korean nationals and foreign nationals. If a foreign national receives criminal punishment for trespassing and stalking crimes, the offender may be forcibly deported to their home country and may be subject to a ban on entering South Korea. Loitering around an artist’s residence, watching and waiting for the artist, or leaving gifts behind are not harmless expressions of interest but manifest criminal offenses. We wish to inform you that we will continue to take strong legal actions, including immediate reports to the police, against all unlawful approaches made under the pretext of conveying personal feelings to our artists.
YG Entertainment has become the first K-pop company to receive ISO 37001 certification.
ISO 37001 is the international standard for anti-bribery management systems, recognizing companies with strict internal controls designed to prevent bribery and corruption in their business operations.
According to fans discussing the certification, this reinforces confidence in the integrity of YG's business practices, including the handling of activities such as album sales for artists like BLACKPINK, TREASURE and BABYMONSTER and artists under the company.
Stray Kids join BTS and BLACKPINK as the only groups to have all of its members surpass 100M streams on Spotify.
(No member of SKZ has had a solo debut yet)
The Coca-Cola deal was one of the partnerships MHJ and NewJeans wanted to take with them and separate from ADOR, and at the beginning it seemed like Coca-Cola was willing to go along with it. Two things made me think that:
1️⃣the "Coca-Cola bouquet" post they uploaded to the IG acc they created.
2️⃣once reports started spreading that they were carrying out the campaign independently under MHJ's supervision—even after ADOR had already filed for the injunction—the magazine suddenly updated its article to emphasize HOW ADOR's team worked with them, helped divide the lines, and contributed throughout the production. That felt like a forced clarification. That's not the kind of statement you'd normally see in a promotional magazine feature unless they were trying to establish something after realizing the legal situation could become a problem, especially with the injunction hearing approaching.💁🏽♀️
The difference between Coca-Cola and other brands like Omega, the noodle brand, Elle, and the American duo is that Coca-Cola's team seemed to realize early on that things could go badly and that NewJeans might lose the injunction, so they got off the ship early.
Honestly, that's what I'd expect from a company of that size.
Still, Coca-Cola is lucky HYBE didn't decide to cut ties with them and keep the partnership with V instead.
