FICCI in partnership with @MITREcorp organised the US-India Science and Technology Roundtable in New Delhi, to promote bilateral technological exchange to cultivate opportunities for stronger collaboration between India and US.

Three distinct roundtable interactions were organised with focus on ORAN and 5G/6G, Semiconductor, Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) verticals, with participation from key innovators across industry, academia and the government.

As a part of the initiative on Critical & Emerging Technologies, FICCI and IESA signed an MoU to establish a framework for long-term collaboration to promote innovation, strengthen the semiconductor and electronics industry, strengthen supply chains, and foster the development of the ecosystem in India with Global Impact.

The MoU was signed by FICCI SG Mr @shypk and IESA President Mr Ashok Chandak in Bengaluru.

FICCI hosted a Virtual Interactive Session with Mr Sanjay Kumar Verma, High Commissioner of India to Canada. FICCI SG Mr @shypk and industry members interacted with the High Commissioner and discussed opportunities to further trade relations between India-Canada, with focus on pharmaceuticals, agri-tech, defence, fintech, manufacturing & supply chain among others.

The Rt Hon @AngelaRayner and other members of the @UKLabour Party delegation discussed areas of potential collaboration. They also appreciated the inputs from industry representatives relating to AI, financial inclusion, women-led development, etc. In his closing remarks, Mr @subhrakantpanda, Immediate Past President, spoke about greater B2B connect and working towards mutually beneficial outcomes. FICCI has a strong presence in the UK and has been recognised for its contribution to strengthening the bilateral relationship.
