By the time you and your mentor takes 5 trades and lost 3 and won 2. You won't need any Mark Douglas to tell you that losses are part of the game

By the time 1 loss wipes all the 5 wins that you two had in live trading, you won't need any psychological session to remind you about risk management

When you're suffering a thing alone, you think it's unique with you. But when you see that the one you look up to also suffer same thing, you'd know that it's no biggie!

Every forex trader needs 3 people in their lives

It doesn’t matter if you’re profitable or not, this 3 people will help your growth and make you better

1. A mentor; someone who has done what you intend to do, a role model you learn from

2. An equal; a person at your level, who you can learn with, grow with, discuss with and have fun with

3. A mentee; have you heard, you learn twice if you teach what you know?
You need someone who you will teach your process, someone you can as well groom.

In all these 3 people will make you a better trader

I found success in simplicity.

Here's how:

H4 for market direction
M5 for confirmation
M1 entry.

Trade continuations, forget reversals.

Apply simple and repeatable frameworks.

It's easy to fall into the trap of trying to catch reversals.

Especially when 90% of social media trades are "sniper entries" catching tops and bottoms.

If you want more consistent gains- monitor the reversal and trade the continuations.

It’s no secret I don’t believe in trading psychology the way it’s portrayed on social media.

I don’t believe a lot of the fluff thrown around can genuinely help a trader execute their edge without hesitation.

People ask: what comes first? An edge or good psychology?

I think it’s neither.

I believe without a good framework- it’s impossible to develop a consistently repeatable edge.

I believe without a good framework- psychology is just a feel good mechanism to keep you motivated and tricks you to repeat the same mistakes.

I believe consistency builds good psychology and consistency only comes from strong frameworks.
