@Dan_Jeffries1 here are some ideas to add utility to the token, if you do the token is gonna have a major success!
1. $NAUTILO as an AI compute credit
Users deposit $NAUTILO → spend it on AI operations inside a Nautilo ecosystem.
For example:
1 Genie conversation = small amount
Browser task = more
Claude/Codex delegation = more
Video generation = significantly more
Long-running agent job = metered by compute/time
2. Pay-per-agent / Genie marketplace
Create a marketplace where developers publish specialized Genies:
Trading Genie
Coding Genie
Research Genie
Marketing Genie
Design Genie
Security-audit Genie
Data-analysis Genie
Users pay $NAUTILO to use them.
The developer receives the majority, while a small protocol fee could go toward the ecosystem.
3. Pay for premium tools
$NAUTILO could unlock or pay for specific resource-intensive capabilities:
Browser automation
Computer use
GPU workloads
Video generation
Image generation
Large-context models
Autonomous research
Multi-agent workflows
4. Agent-to-agent payments
This is more interesting long term.
Imagine:
User → Genie A → hires Genie B → Genie B hires Genie C → result delivered
The agents could transact using the token.
Example:
A research Genie needs a specialized data-analysis Genie.
It automatically pays
10 $NAUTILO → Data Analyst Genie
The transaction becomes part of the machine-to-machine economy.
This would give the token utility outside simply paying for an AI subscription.
5. Decentralized agent marketplace
Turn Nautilo’s open architecture into an ecosystem:
Developers
→ create Genies / tools / MCP servers
Users
→ discover and pay for them
Agents
→ consume services from other agents
Token
→ settlement layer
You could have:
Genie Store
Tool Store
MCP Store
Agent Marketplace
Model Marketplace
and use $NAUTILO as the common payment asset.
Nautilo already has a tool catalog/MCP architecture, which makes this concept particularly relevant.
6. Stake to run infrastructure
Because Nautilo is self-hosted, you could create a network of community-operated Nautilo infrastructure.
For example:
Stake $NAUTILO → operate a Nautilo node/server → receive network fees
Potential operators:
GPU providers
AI inference providers
storage providers
compute providers
relay operators
Users could choose a provider based on:
latency
price
uptime
supported models
privacy
7. Token-gated premium Rooms
Nautilo’s Rooms are a major part of the product.
You could create specialized token-gated Rooms:
Hold 100K $NAUTILO → access Alpha Room
Hold 500K → premium agent room
Stake → create private community Room
8. Agent reputation + staking
This could become genuinely interesting.
Every Genie gets a reputation score based on:
completed jobs
successful tasks
user ratings
dispute rate
accuracy
response time
Developers can stake $NAUTILO behind their Genie.
Bad performance → reputation falls / potentially loses stake.
Good performance → attracts more users and earns more fees.
You’d essentially create:
AI agents with economic reputation.
9. Autonomous agent escrow
This is another strong crypto-native use case.
Suppose someone asks:
“Research 50 companies and produce an investment report.”
They deposit $NAUTILO into escrow.
The agent performs the work.
When the task meets predefined criteria:
escrow → agent/developer
For disputed work:
arbitration → resolution
This turns the token into a mechanism for trustless AI services.
10. Agent subscriptions paid in token
Instead of:
$19/month for AI Agent X
you could have:
500 $NAUTILO/month for AI Agent X
The creator gets paid automatically.
Potentially:
70% → Agent creator
20% → infrastructure/model costs
10% → ecosystem
@Dan_Jeffries1 We support you 100%! There’s huge potential here if you play your cards right. Take your time, build it properly, and don’t forget—you’ve got the community behind you 🫡🙏
That is the line we are talking around as a first step.
To be clear, I believe in full transparency, so I am not promising this yet, as we're still chatting about it, but I think a credit for HODLers could be cool when we have the Nautilo Cloud/Gateway, ability to pay in the coin, etc.
There's a whole legal/financial discussion (have to have all those ducks in a row properly and can't miss any crossed t's or dotted i's) so it will take a bit of time and planning but we are thinking on it.
This was unexpected so we're still figuring it out!
Still musing on it and I appreciate the community offering ideas!
There seems to be a pretty serious issue with the market cap tracking on my entries on @fomo
All 4 of my RIM buys were recorded at market caps significantly higher than the actual MC at the time of purchase. For example, one entry shows $428.5K MC, while the chart was around $320K MC at that point. Another shows $219K MC, even though the actual MC was much lower.
This is also affecting my average entry and PnL, so the numbers in my portfolio are inaccurate. Could you please look into this?
