Today, the girls football teams worked with Luke from @Active_Fusion and our Y12 sports students to take part in The Biggest Ever Football Session. ⚽️

With more than 465,000 girls playing across the country, what an incredible way to celebrate International Women’s Day!

Our y7&8 netballers played Hayfield this evening. It was a tough match but no sad faces here! Brilliant to see so many girls playing #netball and developing their skills and teamwork. Great that we have our older students supporting in a coaching role as well! #teamridgewoodpe

Due to the success of the 'Say Yes to The Dress' event last year, we would like to organise another one for the 2024 Prom. We are hoping this event will ensure no student is left without a prom dress or suit.

Yesterday, we hosted our @EFL @UtilitaFootball Girls Cup, with 12 teams from 13 different schools across Doncaster taking part!

After an incredible tournament, @HelloRidgewood came out on top after winning 1-0 against @AshHillAcademy in the final! 🏆

Last Friday, Rachael Mackenzie spent time with some Y10/11 students discussing ways to support Y7/8 mentees for the Active in Mind Project. Students spent time together completing team building exercises and discussing topics around well-being as part of a 6 week mentor program.

Hard fought victory for the U15 boys football team in the English Schools Cup against Osset School, Wakefield, after being 3-1 up and pegged back to 3-3 they managed to win 4-3. Well done boys!
Next round will be against Ashfield, Mansfield.

Amazing day at Doncaster and district athletics with our y9 girls placing 3rd and our y9 boys placing 2nd after winning the boys relay final! Some incredible performances today, not to mention nearly all finals had a Ridgewood student in who had qualified! @HelloRidgewood
