@OutlanderOnline That's good news! So, Outlander not resuming for S7b until November is because they don't want to have too long of a Droughtlander between S7b and S8. Right?
@OutlanderOnline We really appreciate & love you for this site & for helping to keep Droughtlander at bay. It is truly a blessing to have such dedicated fans keep up a site for the rest of us in a professional & loving ❤️ way. Taing dhut! 🤗
For what it's worth, here's my two cents.
Though, it's probably more like ten cents.
Yes, there are probably a million different reasons why the premiere of season 7B has been delayed until November 2024.
Yes, there are probably a million different factors at play behind the scenes that we will never be aware of, and that's fine, we don't need to be aware of all of that.
But.
In my honest opinion.
For a show that continually praises their fans as "the best fans ever," the way that this has been handled has been utterly ridiculous and insulting to said fanbase.
A simple, "Guys, it's coming! We are working out the logistics and retweaking a few scenes to make sure it's perfect. In the meantime, here's a few cool behind-the-scenes photos and videos to tide you over," would have been all that was needed.
Honestly, we aren't that fussy, not really.
We would have been happy with that.
Instead, we got ignored.
Over and over again.
I shouldn't be surprised.
Not really.
It's always been like this.
Fans have always done the work in between seasons.
Fans and Sam.
We've always made our way through Droughtlander thanks to each other.
Here's hoping there's enough of us left to make it through these last couple of Droughtlanders.
Finally, I think it's important to say that people are allowed to be upset, or frustrated, or confused as to all of this.
For a lot of people, Outlander is important.
I've lost count of how many times I've read that finding Outlander changed someone's life.
So many people discovered Outlander during a point in their life when they needed something to help them get through their days.
Finding Outlander, the books, the show, and the actors that portray each of these truly remarkable characters made a difference in people's lives.
It certainly made a difference in mine.
That's why emotions can run high.
Because it means something to people.
Let others be excited.
Let others be happy that we finally have a date.
Let others be sad.
Because it's ending and for many that's hard to process.
And, let others vent when they need to vent.
Respectfully, of course.
So, here's to November.
Here's to those who have worked tirelessly to bring us Outlander.
And here's to the best fans ever.
Us.
Because without us, there would have never been a second season, let alone 8.

@maryk_debarr@peekaboo_jen@paintspoppies I think they are trying to get a home for Outlander in the UK, and once that's done, then they'll release 7B. I wouldn't want to see it without the UK being able to.
@sancheezer@ThompsonRuehle I don't believe that she is saying anything about the awards won or lost. Just being appreciative for Sam's efforts to promote the show. I'm happy that he does it too.
@peekaboo_jen@welshwitch78 I agree with you both. I have no time for nastiness, and I (or anyone else) shouldn't have to deal with it. Life's too short. Hugs 🤗 🫂 and ✨️
@LauraRispoliArt@Writer_DG I agree with Laura. I think that 🤔 is really what she means. Reading 📚 yours, Diana, is such a wonderful ride, buoyed up to feel safe & surrounded by family & friends ❤️ while you travel its pages & listen to its stories. Love your books!
