Two Nigerians just closed Africa's largest seed round.
$52 million.
Not fintech. Not crypto. Defense technology.
Nathan Nwachuku and Maxwell Maduka founded Terra Industries in 2024. They build autonomous drones, sentry towers, and unmanned ground vehicles from a 15,000 sq ft factory in Abuja.
Two years in. On track to book $100 million in contracts by year-end.
A second factory in Ghana opens Q4 2026. 34,000 square feet. When fully operational, it will be the largest drone factory on the African continent. Capacity: 50,000 units per year by 2028.
Not an isolated story either.
Nigerian startups raised $214 million in equity in the first half of 2026 alone. More than Egypt. More than any other country on the continent. The strongest equity showing since 2022.
People will tell you Africa cannot build hard tech. That the continent is only good for mobile apps and consumer fintech.
Terra is manufacturing autonomous systems in Abuja and opening offices in London and San Francisco.
The narrative that Africans only consume technology is dying. Slowly, expensively, and loudly.
When a seed round from Nigeria is bigger than most Series B rounds in Europe, the conversation has already shifted.
You just have not been listening.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ME ON MY NEW MERCEDES 🖤
My first Car. A $100k AMG.
If you told 20-year-old me that starting Forex would lead to this, he would’ve argued.
I truly lack words.
Thank you, Lord.
Thank you, Forex.

Understanding Risk to Reward ✅
Risk to Reward Ratio(RRR) is way of measuring potential profit to potential loss . lets say you're risking $10K to make $30k, Meaning if you lose the trade you lose just $10K, if you win you make $30k, thats 1:3RR
Let's Calculate it
Using an $1000 account
Let's say you already have a Technical Edge, that gives you an average amount of Wins like 40% Win rate. That is like losing 6 trades out of 10 and just Winning only 4, you can still be profitable with this result if though it's Below average.
Example: L-L-W-L-W-L-L-W-W-L ❗️❗️
Now simple illustration 👇👇
If i take 10 trades , risking 1000$
With a minimum RR of 1:3R
If i lose 6 Trades, that is -6R = -$6,000
Then i won Just 4 trades thats 3R x 4 which is +12R = $12,000
$12,000 - $6000 = $6000
Total Profit for the month after losing 6 trades and winning 4 is $6,000 ( 40% win rate)🔥
From $6,000 you keep growing to 5 figures in the coming years, you wil experience DD , but Even if your win rate is 40% you will still end up in profit If you diligently follow the plan and maintain a fix risk on your account
You Can risk lesser or more depending on your account Size. Track your Progress and see whats not working (JOURNAL), it's not all about coming online and posting Before and after charts.
I shared this in 2023, 2024,2025 and here i am, sharing it again this year because it works 🥂
BookMark this and use it as many times as possible
Go and prosper🔥

Don’t get mad at the players, learn the rules of the game.
I started at Shell on the same day on the same job grade as another team member.
This guy did the bare minimum at work. His performance was a “C” at the end of our first year. He got the same mediocre score at the end of our 2nd year as well.
Yet he got promoted.
I was livid.
I had much better performance ratings those two years and he’s getting the promotion?
I later found out that he has pre-negotiated his promotion before even getting the job.
He wanted to come in at a higher level but they gave him a lower one, the same level I came in with, with a promise that if he performed at a “C” or better grade for two years in a row, they would promote him.
So, it’s just contracts at work. He simply knew he could do that and did.
We started on the same day on the same job level, but we were not the same. He was operating with a different agreement.
That experience showed me that HR rules are mostly BS and so I started negotiating every thing. Instead of being mad at my colleague or my boss or their agreement, I learned from it.
Interestingly, I discovered that I didn’t hate the players or the game. Quite the opposite: I loved it. I got way more by the simple act of asking. I was surprised at how much I was leaving on the table.
Understand the rules. If you don’t like it. Get out of the game. But you can’t hate the players.
Look, you need to approach your 9-5 as a business. In the business world, you hustle, you negotiate, you trade (by barter), I give you this, you get me that.
Don’t let the company rules fool you…most of them are meant to keep the timid in check. Be bold. Ask.
Fortune favors the bold.
