@adanonso_ She goes: You remember last year, when that woman with red polkadot dress tried to cross the road? How she screamed? Okay, beans is on the fire, right, and then I almost screamed like her when I saw a lizard on the wall.
Me: Whaaaaaaat?

"If I could hear Christ praying for me in the next room, I would not fear a million enemies. Yet distance makes no difference. He is praying for me."
— Robert Murray M'Cheyne
Lord help me kill the taste of sin in my heart. Let my ruin not be sweet to me. My heart truly is prone to wonder, prone to seek after the passions of the flesh and the lust of this world. Revive me in your ways and cause my eyes to turn away from worthless things. Let me know rest in you that I may not spend my days in vain pursuits. Lord of my soul, show me again and again the delight of the cross, that my gaze may always be towards the risen King.
Where sin doth abound, grace abounds even the more. There is more grace and mercy with Christ than your sins can outrun. I love how John Chrysostom explains this; "let no one mourn that he has fallen and fallen again, for forgiveness has risen from the grave".
The Christian is never without comfort. The permanence of the sacrifice on the cross guarantees this. Anyone who turns in true contrition will not be forsaken. After all, it is Christ who justifies His people, whose condemnation will stand? Not even self condemnation is enough to blot out the magnificence of His love towards the elect.
#YCDDailyCharge – May 19, 2026.
The love of God is a source of strength, hope, and victory for every believer. In moments of weakness, uncertainty, and trials, His unfailing love sustains us and reminds us that we are never alone.
Today’s charge encourages us to remain rooted in God’s love at all times. When we abide in Him, we receive the grace to overcome challenges, endure difficulties, and walk confidently as more than conquerors through Christ.
Prayer: Oh Lord, help me to remain steadfast in Your love and make me more than a conqueror in every situation of life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
May the love of God strengthen your heart and keep you victorious always. 🙏🏽
