Lewis Hamilton says women are the most beautiful things on the planet and therefore should be grid girls. I think giraffes are the most beautiful things on the planet and my campaign for grid giraffes starts here. #gridgiraffes#f1
@marksandspencer Hi! My order was due to arrive by Monday, but it hasn't yet - and the tracking suggests something has gone a bit wrong. Are you able to help please?
4-yr-old: *sings* Do-do-do-do-do do-do baby, do-do-do-do-doo-do do-do baby, do-do-do-do-do-do baby, oooooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Me: Are you singing Disco 2000?!
She bloody was. We've since spent the morning dancing around to @welovepulp.
My little 90s-kid self is so proud.
@DFDSLiveUpdates That said, staff were as helpful as they could be in the circumstances, and mostly remained calm and pleasant. Thank you to them for that.
There's plenty wrong in the world today, but I'm baffled by the idea you can look at it and conclude the things that need fixing are working from home and treating others equally.
@robedwards1955@harrogatebus The barriers are stuck shut on the level crossing, so I guess until that's fixed. Diverting via Hookstone Chase/Forest Lane.
Learnt today that you can type any nonsense into Google followed by "meaning", and AI will assume you're searching a well-known human phrase and frantically come up with what it thinks it could mean.
I don't want to be *that* person, but I am, so here we are.
It's BETWIXTMAS. It's taken from the word 'betwixt', meaning between. It has nothing to do with chocolate-covered biscuits. Sadly.
@SquareFilmsUK Hi Martin! You've been recommended to me by @HannahHiles (thanks Hannah!) - would you mind DMing me your email address so I can send over some details about a potential job? Thanks!
I do love living in Harrogate but I've just seen an advert for a Christmas event lasting 45 minutes that would cost £57 for a family of four and you can bloody bet it'll sell out.
@dexychik I think it doesn't help that it's his birthday today so he's literally bouncing off the walls... Hopefully he'll crash tonight and right himself within a couple of days!
My son, who has recently been sleeping until after 6.30am for the first time in his life, has of course chosen today to get up an hour early. Clock change tonight is going to be a car crash.
Still, it's been a while since I saw 4.43am, so that's something to look forward to.
