Fair enough—sellers set their own prices. But what happens when a seller experiences a duplicate listing due to a system glitch? If the seller reports the issue immediately, exactly as required under your Seller Policy (Section 3.3), and provides supporting evidence, why is the seller still held responsible?
I complied with StubHub’s Seller Policy (Section 3.3), which requires sellers to “report an issue immediately.” I reported the platform glitch within minutes and provided screenshots and supporting evidence. Nearly 2 months later, my evidence has been ignored, and I’m still being held responsible. Has anyone successfully challenged StubHub or won a BBB complaint? Any consumer lawyers or experienced sellers with advice? #StubHub #ConsumerRights #BBB
Seeing the allegations surrounding StubHub’s CEO makes me wonder if my experience is part of a bigger pattern.
I reported a system glitch within minutes, provided evidence, and after nearly 2 months I’m still being blamed while my evidence is ignored.
Anyone else? Advice?

My order number has already been provided multiple times over the past two months. Your team keeps saying my case has been “reviewed,” yet no one addresses the actual issue: a duplicate listing created on your platform that sold within minutes. I’ve already wasted enough time and experienced enough unnecessary stress because of this. I’m not going through the same process again. Please stop asking for information you already have and assign someone who will actually review the evidence and provide a meaningful response.
It’s been almost two months, and @StubHub continues to ignore the evidence I’ve provided. They claim they’ve “reviewed” my case, yet they refuse to address the duplicate listing that appeared on their platform and instead hold me responsible for their system’s failure. This is unacceptable customer service and a complete lack of accountability. Shame on you, StubHub. #StubHub #ConsumerRights #CustomerServiceFail
@LeanneK18@StubHub That’s unbelievable. I’m sorry you’re going through that too. It really seems like many customers are experiencing the same lack of accountability. I hope we both get a fair resolution soon.
Please stop replying with this generic message every time I post. My case has already been “reviewed” multiple times over the past two months, yet you continue to ignore the evidence I’ve provided and refuse to answer the key questions I’ve repeatedly raised. Instead, you keep holding me responsible for a duplicate listing that appeared on your platform due to a system failure. This isn’t customer support—it’s avoiding accountability.

@StubHub It’s disappointing to realize my experience may not be unique. How many customers have received vague responses, had chats abruptly ended, or felt their cases weren’t thoroughly investigated? Customers deserve better. Accountability matters.

I wish I had known StubHub had received over 10,900 BBB complaints in the last 3 years before trusting the platform. I provided evidence that a duplicated listing was created without my knowledge, yet I’m still being held responsible. Consumers deserve a fair investigation. Do better, StubHub.

A month later, my case is still unresolved. Despite submitting clear evidence that the platform created a duplicate listing I never made, @StubHub still expects me to pay for its own error. Over the past month, I’ve found other users reporting similar experiences. This isn’t how customer trust is built.

@TeamStubHub Thank you. I’ve spent 3 weeks providing evidence and receiving mostly generic responses, yet I’m still being held responsible for an issue I didn’t cause. StubHub should protect both buyers and sellers. I also found multiple reports of similar experiences. You can do better.
Would you accept this?
I listed ONE Harry Styles ticket on @StubHub.
Minutes later, a duplicate listing appeared on my account. I reported it immediately and have screenshots showing both listings.
Three weeks later, after sending every screenshot and piece of evidence they requested, they’re still demanding I deliver a ticket I physically can’t deliver—and warning me I’ll be charged if I don’t.
Would you pay hundreds of dollars for a listing you never created?
Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Trust goes both ways. We trust @StubHub to provide a secure marketplace—and to stand behind its users when something goes wrong. Instead, customers are left with the financial loss, weeks of back-and-forth, and no real accountability. A company’s mistake shouldn’t become a customer’s burden.
Has anyone else experienced this with StubHub?
I listed ONE Harry Styles ticket for sale.
Within minutes, what appeared to be a duplicate listing showed up and one of them sold almost immediately.
I’ve spent weeks trying to understand what happened and trying to resolve it with StubHub, but I still don’t have a clear explanation.
If this has happened to you, or if you’ve experienced a similar issue, please reply or DM me. I’d like to know whether I’m the only one.
Buyers and sellers both deserve transparency, fair investigations, and better customer support.

@TeamStubHub Thanks. I’ll send the requested information via DM. For transparency, this case has already been under review for three weeks, and I’ve already provided this information multiple times by email. I’m hoping this time it results in an actual resolution.
Part 1 of 3
Three weeks ago, I listed my one and only Harry Styles ticket for sale on @StubHub at the price I had chosen.
Within minutes, while checking that my listing had been updated correctly, I saw two active listings for the same ticket.
@StubHub@TeamStubHub I’ve been trying to resolve this for almost three weeks. Please conduct a fair review of my case instead of sending another template response.
Part 3 of 3
Instead of a meaningful investigation or solution, I received repetitive responses and a goodwill offer that did not address what happened. I’m sharing my experience to raise awareness because no buyer or seller should have to go through this.

Part 2 of 3
I then immediately received a notification that my ticket had sold—but it had sold through the duplicate listing at a price far below the one I had set. I contacted StubHub immediately and have spent the last three weeks trying to get this resolved.
