From "Where is Messi ?" to "There is Messi!" with the WC. What a ride. Messi dint carry the team (disrespectful to his teammates) but he lead the way as ideal leader would. His words were to believe in this team after the first loss and we did. #Messi𓃵 #FIFAWorldCup2022Final
It is not my team, it is our country. If you feel you need an incentive to support your national team, then I honestly don't know what to say.
Going by that logic, countries like Bangladesh should have no support either. Yet their fans proudly back the national team despite being ranked 181 because they love both their country and football. The same can be said for Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Tajikistan and many others across Asia.
Do you think every lower-league club in Europe plays great football? Of course not. Their fans still turn up because they love the game and feel a connection to their city and club.
Support is not always about success. Sometimes it is simply about belonging.
@Vignesh__CV@7negiashish - like how tnpl , kpl, mpl works in crickets acting as feeders for ipl. We really need to bring back the draft system for new players / free agents and run transfers like usual
@Vignesh__CV@7negiashish I don't have any aims for afc , right now the focus should be setting up a fool.proof structure for top division and its hierarchy . Also I would really like if a path way is built for the state league players to participate and join clubs in national division like isl etc.
@SriniMaama16 Fdj, van djik are the usual suspects but this will be a good game to watch as Japan will come up as a team and show some intensity. Kubo and maeda are the ones to watch out for in japan
Shabba, modhala @ChennaiyinFC match ah stadium la parunga or Atleast on TV. It starts with you as a fan to grow your countries game. This applies to all sports.
The smallest country in terms of population which qualified for the world cup is Curaçao
It has a population of 1.58 Lakh
Their total population is less than the number of people who pass thru Dadar Station between 6 to 8 PM
And they are playing the World Cup
The truth is that Messi fans are not even going to the World Cup to support Messi but to see Ronaldo fail.
This world cup will be our biggest hate watch of all time. 😂
1. 2006 Zidanes headbutt ( first WC for me)
2. South african celebration dances for the first goal
3. Neymar's injury vs Columbia and Messi walking past the WC after the loss
4. Cabelleros wonderful assist to rebic for a volley
5. Messi lifting the WC
We are officially in World Cup month. Please leave your xG charts, pressing percentages, and defensive metrics in the club season. International tournament football is strictly decided by pure vibes, individual brilliance, tactical survival, and a random goalkeeper turning into prime Lev Yashin for two weeks. Enjoy the entertainment and put the spreadsheets away.

Think of the tears would be if Spain win the WC now 🤣🤣
All these crying for 11 Spanish players in the squad out of which only 2 are regulars for their own club.
There’s no end of any era. Right from day 1, Barcelona and Real Madrid players haven’t been treated same way, specially since the Pep era.
If that’s not the case tell me how Rodri and Morata were captains before Carvajal?
Carvajal even though he was playing UCL finals was hardly favored. Ramos was just undroppable, but the slightest opportunity Enrique got to drop him, wah happened?
If you’ve been following the spanish national team you’d notice the bias. Once a 17yr old plays well in Barca, he gets called him. A 17yr old Real Madrid player will have to work twice as hard.
Look at the Club World Cup G.Garcia had, if he was a Barca player, he’s getting a call up for that. It has always been that way and me I’m fine with that.
