Love this article by @ChinHuaLu! Our users @HeyKinship told us they do the same thing and use our app to remember which people they met on which #DatingApps, what they spoke about, and more. My secret to dating in San Francisco is a spreadsheet https://t.co/VW2t2ctj2G via @SFGate

I enjoy reading articles like these. While I focus so hard on making meaningful #connections there are times when I can sometimes feel isolated. #Mindfulness techniques such as the ones listed here are a great way to re-evaluate where I am at.

This is what I love about meeting new people. What will connect us? Music, traveling, Friends vs The Office? I love figuring out the spark that will eventually ignite the connection!

The focus on improving empathy, respect, and trust is a hallmark of a meaningful connection. I hope to continually provide the space where the @HeyKinship team can continue to connect and grow with each other.

Whether a friend or a meaningful #connection, my answer is yes. Many of us try to be independent, but we can never truly do it alone. Having others to #mentor and support helps us thrive.

Is it really necessary to have friends?

[Victoria Wejchert @VickyWej]

Alright, now I finally have an excuse to adopt a dog! I love the social aspect ingrained in being a dog owner as you get to casually meet each other. You get to form a genuine #connection while also seeing cute doggos!

I love this! There's so much value in #networking and making meaningful connections. We begin to learn more about ourselves and the world!

Networking is a lot easier if you focus on what you might learn from potential connections. https://t.co/JuHgwhLpFf

I truly believe that the team you choose to have by your side can make or break any startup, no matter how great the idea might be.

This is why i'm so grateful for the @Kinship team and all the hard work they have put into making this startup successful.

Even a terrible startup idea can turn into a great one with the right team.

With all the time we spend with our colleagues in the workplace, it is no surprise that our coworkers can end up being lifelong friends. There are so many opportunities to #bond over shared experiences, challenges, or interests.

The term "aggressive friendship" may sound...well, aggressive, but it does build upon a core pillar of friendship: #Openness.

When I can get out of my #comfortzone, that is when I find the memorable experiences, and the most unforgettable friendships.

While #socializing is definitely different post-lockdown, I find myself being more intentional with my conversations now. Being open about our vulnerabilities is just one of the ways we can create more meaningful #relationships with people.

It's no surprise that #honesty is one of the featured personality traits. I find people can spot fake sincerity a mile away. When it's clear that the person you're speaking with genuinely cares, that's when you can start to make genuine connections.

I love hearing stories like this.

The pandemic has left us all feeling disconnected and quite frankly, lonely. All it takes is a little initiative to bond with others!

Finding a #community when you move to a new place can be difficult, but making it a habit to invest your time into meeting new people will help you quickly build that community and let you feel at home.

@mkobach “Hire on character.
Train on skill.”

As part of the software development interviewing team back in the day, this was our mantra for finding the best people to join our development team.

Electrifying is a perfect way to describe #NYC. Having lived in between cities for years made me appreciate the never ending opportunities to meet new people in NYC. Apps and social media have made it easier for people to find their kindred spirits.

Reflecting on my personal experience #fundraising for @HeyKinship it is not surprising to read that 86% of venture funding still goes to men. This is why it is so valuable for female #entrepreneurs to share their story and hold the #VC space accountable.

Thanks @_bessieliu and #TheOrg for chatting with me about my experience #fundraising for @HeyKinship as a female founder. Certainly hasn’t been easy but happy to share some lessons learned!
