They have used their soft power along with other EU member states to lead some of the accountability mechanisms including sponsoring the resolution on creating an investigation mechanism on the situation of human rights in Afghanistan, referring Afghanistan case to ICC, supporting the campaign on Gender apartheid , naming a room in honor of “Afghan women resilience”, supporting hundreds of vulnerable women and girls with asylum visas to name a few.
