WTC Building 7 - a 47-story building that was not struck by any aircraft - collapsed at 5:20 PM on September 11, 2001.

The building fell at free-fall acceleration for approximately 2.25 seconds - a fact that NIST (the National Institute of Standards and Technology) initially denied, then was forced to acknowledge after independent analysis proved it.

Free-fall means the building offered zero structural resistance during its collapse - physically impossible in a gravity-driven collapse unless the supporting structure was simultaneously removed.

NIST's final report attributed the collapse to 'office fires' - the first time in history that fire alone was claimed to have caused the total collapse of a steel-framed high-rise building.

No steel-framed building has collapsed due to fire before or since September 11, 2001.

The BBC reported Building 7's collapse approximately 20 minutes before it actually fell - with the building still standing visibly behind the reporter.

Building 7 housed: the SEC (investigating Wall Street fraud), the IRS, the Secret Service, the CIA's New York station, and the Office of Emergency Management - Rudy Giuliani's fortified command center.

Thousands of SEC case files - including investigations into Enron and WorldCom - were destroyed in the collapse.

A building full of active federal investigations collapsed into its own footprint at free-fall speed from office fires. And nobody asked why.

Un 11 de Septiembre de 1973, el genocida Augusto Pinochet a órdenes de la CIA, dentro de la Operación Cóndor, y en defensa de los intereses imperialistas de EEUU, perpetraba un golpe de estado en Chile para derrocar al líder del pueblo, Salvador Allende.

La brutal dictadura que EEUU impuso en Chile, se tradujo en más de 1.135 centros de tortura, donde para los años 80, ya se asesinaron a más de 15.000 personas y otras 150.000 estaban siendo prisioneras y torturadas.

La nacionalización del cobre, el principal recurso del pais, y la reforma agraria, aterrorizó con perder el poder a la oligarquía capitalista local y a su amo imperialista de EEUU... por lo que a diferencia del buenismo del proceso revolucionario, no dudaron en usar las armas para llenar de sangre el Río Mapocho para defender sus intereses y mantener su saqueo al pueblo por las malas.

La muerte de Allende debería servir para entender que no se puede hacer una revolución pacífica dentro del propio sistema ni se puede confiar en los capitalistas, que cuando ven que pueden peligrar sus privilegios aunque sean unas simples reformas, sacan el fascismo a la calle para restaurar su poder.

That particular moment in 2001, when Vladimir Putin presented George W. Bush a 1954 Soviet proposal to join NATO.
This was clearly an unexpected move that drew a nervous laugh from the US president.

Putin added that Russia, at the time, was also open to exploring membership.
Madeleine Albright, however,
dismissed the idea almost immediately.

For Moscow, that exchange became shorthand for what came next: Russian overtures ignored while NATO continued expanding toward Russia’s borders.

Critics of NATO argue that this episode punctured the alliance’s claim to being purely defensive.
In their view, Bush’s reaction reflected an awareness of how contentious that eastward expansion really was.
