So, after this weekend I'm genuinely at odds with the Pokemon Community again. I have witnessed behaviours by both players and judges that have not been penalised. Not happy with the double standards we are setting for ourselves as a community.
What the hell is going on with the new generation of judges?
What used to be a network of passionate Professors upholding the Spirit of the Game has been replaced with a hierarchy of employees whose job consists of keeping the players in line at all times.
I'd love to dance on RS-PK's downfalls for the joke of it, but the serious actual response here is that TCPI really needs to just leave these events be.
As long as these unofficial side events do not have paid entry or money prizing, there should be no interference
Remember folks, events live under marketing for TPCi. If you can’t make line go up for the corporation, you do not (and apparently to them) should not exist
It’s a shame they’re leaning more and more into rampant capitalism at events
I feel like they need to change the operation of ICs. Getting out and no restaurant can take you, getting dinner at 10pm and trying to wind down with adrenaline flowing, only to get minimal sleep to do it all again. Make Day 2 all Phase 2 or make rounds more consistent time.
Does anyone know if i can get my own stuff signed at EUIC autographs. This is for the TCG casters. Trying to finish a joke thats been going on for a few years.
@jbatcards Have my Prof 101 atm, haven't really gone any higher yet. A lot of it at the moment is liasing with the store to get the admin set up for that.
The amount of rejections I've had as a judge for major events, is putting me off wanting to try. Spending effort into writing an application to be told 'oh, you just werent lucky enough', is just heartbreaking. Especially, when its for local majors where they prioritise locals.
@TcgFlo I always apply to either TCG or TCG sides and maybe even just general assistance when needed. Im not certified in vg or go so theres no point. Ive been in the tcg scene since 2008 so it just feels a bit like my exp counts for nothing
Hi all, I would really like to build some Worlds 2013 decks, as this was my first proper competitive season. Does anyone know of the best ways to get beach? Lots of ebay is the graded version.
Zard players: "why are people on Pult? Your deck is bad"
Pult players: "why are people on Zard? Your deck is bad"
Gardy players: "Why are people on anything other than gardy? Have you heard about our lord and saviour Henry Chao."
